You have some interesting points... I would actually think that the Uranus conj. your Neptune in your 12 house of cap... Does not help. Also the fact that you are Aqua in your first adds... You are sensitive by a bit... as you have you Moon in the 8th house of Virgo I believe...
The aqua first makes you some what nervous... Air sign normally have more anxieties... You mix that with Uranus conj. your Neptune in 12 makes you have Anxieties about sleep. Uranus rules Aqua... Neptune is an extremely strong placement in the 12 house... psychic...
Do you fear sleeping?... weir dreams when you do?... does anxiety of some type bother you?...
The 8th house moon?... makes your mind represented by the moon... feel... small issue and possibly pick them apart over and over again... replaying situations.
If I am right or in the right direction with any of this you need to settle your mind... This will be not an easy thing to over come...
Other people can't sleep but often understanding yourself better is the key to healthy sleep...
I got home from work at midnight. By the time I finished washing work clothes for the morning, eaten my late dinner, and wound down, it's 230 am.
I've always been a night owl so I'm always up. Not sure if it even qualifies as insomnia. I've been kinda up later than usual with everything going on lately. :/
lol I'm always thinking...and I know what you mean about that not shutting off factor...especially if you have sun conjunct merc :/. I find, physical activity on a regular basis helps me sleep better.
