Spider dream?

I looked up what it means to dream about a spider and it seems to indicate manipulation, but in MY dream the spider was absolutely beautiful and had pink gems on its back. I was afraid of it at first, but then someone showed me that it was a friendly spider.
What could this mean?
The fact that it is pink, a calming color, and you instinct said bad but another person said good...I would watch the messengers in your life that try to change your direction, ideas about people and situations. Manipulation can seem absolutely beautiful until the spider poisons you.
