How do you feel your skills are in reading people?
Are your first impressions usually accurate?
Do you easily recognize their defense mechanisms?
How often are you surprised by people's actions?

depends on how much thought i've put into it. as i go throughout my day, when im quickly reading people or scenarios, im pretty good. i may be surprised from time to time. but i find that if i've bent my mind on it to really see into the person and make a prediction, i'm usually right. demeanor, body language, how a person presents themselves, where their eyes are looking and focusing on, what they say, word choice... ALL of that tells me a lot about a person. it's not often that im wrong, but it happens. this is regarding things like character or what they might do in certain scenarios.

yep... that's one of the easiest things to read. people might as well be yelling to me what their defenses are.

surprised enough to expect to be surprised and therefore never surprised LOL o.O 😕


hands are underrated. you can tell a lot about a person just looking at their hands. I'm not really referring to palm reading. sometimes i feel like hands are a better projection of a person than eyes are.

there are 27 bones in the human hand, 123+ ligaments, 34 muscles that move the fingers, 48+ nerves, and not to mention unique fingerprints... hands might as well have as much character and expressiveness as a person's face. we do a lot of learning, communicating and gesticulating with our hands.

pay attention to hands more and let me know what you guys think 😉

When my guard is all up my ability to read people, I can say is 90% accurate, but I usually give benefit of the doubt so I would carefully watch their actions and analyze their words so they can provide me "proofs" that I am right and most of the time, I am right.
But this thing on me, accurately works if I'm interested to get to know a person.
Since I notices even the smallest details in a persons face, body language and words, I can also tell of a person likes my presence or not, so normally I would be close to people who like me from the very start. I can also tell if a person is hesitant in approaching me so I would normally approach them first and when they speak of what they think about me, its no longer a surprise on my part cause I've expected it already, same goes with their actions.
