Sun-opp-Asc: The Bait & Switch?

For those who have Sun opposing Ascendant do you feel like you give people the bait and switch?
Do you believe people interpret you way differently than how you see yourself and know yourself to be?

Yeah but it's more like, push people away and they miss out.

Not really. My sun and ascendant are opposite by less than one degree but I have my moon in my first house so that puts an important part of my inner nature out there visibly.
