Neptune in the First House - Departing in Delirium

The Opal Gate overlooks the grand ocean.
The sea, she hears,
goes farther to the South than the aurora goes
and in the farther there is full of warmer sunlight.
She feels happy, looking over the sea and walking up the stone steps to the Gate.
?? What explorers are coming today ? —
?? How far are they going to sail tomorrow ? —

The first house Neptune placement is undefinable, like melting liquid that soaks straight through your fingertips into your soul lining. He dreamweaves the blue planet's mystic haze is into the home of self expression, and triggers identity confusion, an unstable sense of self and a general sense of loss when it comes to dreams and ambitions. The first house traditionally represents our projected expression, self image and identity. Neptune here dissolves all it touches and the individual typically acts as a vessel that mirrors the circulating vibrations, intimate desires, emotions and fantasies of the world around them. He carries intense confusion about his place in the world and his personal wants and needs. However, this is coupled with tremendous insight and intuition that cuts through the barriers that separate the visible and invisible worlds. Compassion, empathy, divine instinct and solicitude are key features of the first house in Neptune.

First house Neptune people exhibit a fertile imagination that borders on psychotic and their natural empath ability penetrates light into the auric field of others. He rarely perceive faces and bodies of people and instead perceive their soul, energies and stardust clusters. The individual intrinsically tunes into invisible undercurrents and soul conversations of others, and adjusts his personality to reflect his surrounding scenery. He typically eschews all sentiment of reality and loses hours, days and months spinning fantasy and dancing with the mythical. Neptune's placement here indicates issues around childbirth. There may have been deep traumas and resentment about being bought into the world, as if he was abandoned here and centuries away from his place of safety and comfort. The mother may have been medicated into unconscious stupor or a disconnect with reality during birthing. He feels a dissociation from the world and people around him, as if he stands on the outside of a Neptune veil peering in.

Life may be characterised by strange, unpredictable or somatic illnesses or lethargy that seem to respond to no remedy. The risk of addiction also threatens with his need to adjust to an earth frequency that feels foreign and lacking in alignment.

The first house Neptune person views reality through the lenses of magic, delirium and enchantment. The individual spends his life searching for those they can establish that deep underlying communion with, and he typically resents his own sense of solitude and disconnect from the world. He is instilled incredible telepathic and channeling abilities, and easily taps into the collective unconscious. The barriers between ours and the otherworldly fall with Neptune here, and the boundaries of realism simply fall away in his grip. Neptune in the first house people are like the ocean, you can only hold a little in your hand, but they will leave you spinning in realms you never dreamed existed.

coworker - "Do you think Brad Pritt is hot?"

Neptune in the 1st - "No."

coworker - "Shutup! You know he's hot. Is there something wrong with you or something? Millions of women think he's hot. He's the 'boy next door' hot guy."

Neptune in the 1st - "There is no amount of therapy in the world that is going to make me think Brad Pitt is hot, so stop asking me." *starts to fantasize about Seal*

You don't need Neptune in the 1st to know that Brad Pitt is absolutely NOT hot.

The misunderstandings that come with Neptune in the 1st house is what I hate. That and I feel a bit like a chameleon, I'm different with different people but I don't do it consciously. Escapism is a horrible habit I have, but luckily it's no through the use of drugs. I think it's a lonely placement to have.

out??li??er

/??out??l—r/

noun: outlier; plural noun: outliers

a person or thing situated away or detached from the main

body or system.

-- "less accessible islands and outliers"

a person or thing differing from all other members of a

particular group or set.

-- "an outlier in Faulkner's body of work"

............................................................

This is not a bad thing... in fact, I think it's gold.

But I have Neptune in the seventh (right on the cusp

of the eighth)-- so it stands to reason.

🙂

And really, you have it Don?

I have always had a hard time believing you have a

Pisces moon, too-- just like Hillary Clinton.

I guess it is a malleable placement, though.
