Ascendant Sign Question

I still cannot figure out if my Ascendant is Libra or Scorpio.

Some websites say Libra and some say Scorpio....regarding the descriptions of each, I relate to Libra Asc 100% but I feel that I look more Scorpio Asc.

Astro.com says Libra on the chart but when I go to an extended chart is says Scorpio. Very confused.

Does anyone have a resource that is for sure accurate based on birth time?

I'm 5/27/85 born in Malibu, CA at 3:00 PM.

I know this isn't really a common, popular opinion but I feel like many Libra Ascendants and Suns can sometimes look like Scorpio Risings. So it's hard for me to tell. Kim Kardashian is such a good example. She's a Libra with a Sagittarius Ascendant but those eyes, that jaw, the thick black hair, her style - it really reminds me of a Scorpio Rising. Also the way she's able to transform her image too. There's a drag queen too named Adore Delano and he's a Libra and he really looks like a Scorpio Rising too. Anytime I mistake Ascendant signs it's Libra and Scorpio.

That's really interesting. Actually, my "look" changes kind of drastically all the time.

I really feel like when I look at Scorpio Asc or read the physical description, I'm like yeah that's totally me but personality wise, Libra.

Don't know if anyone is gonna agree with me but I don't think AS decides your appearance.

AS is about how you come across to people.

I look nothing like a cap rising, more Pisces rising but maybe because Neptune is in my first.

You don't have to have a Scorpio AS to 'look' like a Scorpio rising. Planets in the first might alter your appearance to the public to some extent. If you have squares to your AS, Pluto in the first etc.

The whole AS and looks thing is what I'm skeptical about still.

I tend to agree with you that's it's more about how your energy comes across, still if you scroll down to the yellow box on this website and click on the numbers under each Asc Sign it shows you pictures and a lot of the people under the same Asc sign seem to have the same type of look or energy about them.

What aspects do you have to your asc? That can affect your look. Perhaps you have Pluto touching it?

Pluto in my 1st AND 2nd house (on the cups I guess) in Scorpio.

I believe that when you have a rising at 29 degrees (very close to the end) there no space to grow there, so you are growing more like a scorpio. Or even, your baby face or younger face will be scorpio, since libra is "old"

My Pluto is in the first house, at the end. But still very strong. I'm a Libra ascendant as well. Big indicator for Libra ascendant -- long face. I have one, looks like you do as well. But it's not a bad thing. Venusian ascendants are pleasant.
Pluto in the first house is physically noticed; energy, constantly changing things about our appearance, i.e. hair color and/or cut, the way we do makeup, clothes; lot of changes. So that's probably what's making you think your rising may be Scorpio.
