So, if this planet represents our deepest wound in life, in which we strive to heal all our days long ... then wouldn't it be logical to believe that if you ever finally figure out how to heal this, then you can stop reincarnating?
In thinking about Chiron .... would it be safe to assume then, that our soul mate (if they exist) is the person who can provide us with what we need to accomplish this healing?
For example, if your Chiron is in Aries ... then you are plagued with not knowing who you are suppose to be and flutter from relationship to relationship, friendships to friendships, looking for an identity in these other people that you can have for yourself ... because you can't ever quite figure out who you are.
So, let's take Chiron in Taurus to use in this scenerio ... Taurus knows how to make people feel worthy (though this is thier own wound and never feel adequate) .... but, if Chiron in Taurus can indeed, make Chiron in Aries feel valueable enough to find an identity, then won't this lead to Chiron in Taurus's need to feel valuable?
Both then are healed. Perhaps, when we go about looking for compatibility to make us feel whole as person, we err in looking at other planets .... perhaps, we can find what we are looking for in Chiron.
Its funny you mention that... I was thinking the same thing a couple of months ago, but didn't really come across the time to break it down. Mine is in taurus... and I am drawn to them in the strangest way. Maybe because my mom is one and most people (sub-consciously) look for a partner that is much like their opposite sex parent.
mine is in aries. i guess you could say i haven't found it in anyone. so, i'm actually figuring that out on my own, now. i realized that i don't wanna be someone else, i wanna be me. 🙂
Chiron in the sign of Cancer implies wounding in the areas of life relating to Cancer- the family, and the extensions thereof. The early family life was probably unsettled; it's possible that there were traumatic relocations of residence. Also possible is a mother perceived as inadequate in some fashion, perhaps as emotionally distant or indifferent. Either way, there is a deep urge for belonging with a simultaneous rejection of the things that comes along with the bond itself. Those with this placement often jump from group to group, attempting to fit in, but when someone attempts to bond with them, they immediately clam up, fearing the pain brought by the separation inflicted upon them when they were young. Paradoxically enough, they often can make great therapists themselves, expertly helping others with their emotional problems in order to not confront those of their own.
Reincarnation is not about healing. It is about reaching a goal that was set on your soul, or lesson you have to learn. Until you learn that lesson you keep reincarnating. if you believe in souls thats fine,if not its just reincarnation. Once you reach this goal, or lesson if you will then you stop reincarnating.
I think when you introduce the idea of a soul mate you can safely assume that a soul , your soul, can have 1 or 2 soul mates. Not to sound silly but I always think of ancient beliefs primarily because it seems to me they grasped the metaphysical idea better than us. We now have lost much of knowledge. If you believe it then how do you know if you are looking for one or two people? Now if you don't believe it works that way well thats fine too.
Chiron seems to be something effecting us now, in this life. It seems to be more of an emotional healing than anything else to get over our insecurities. Ex, in this lifetime you are a aqua with a taurus chiron well next life you are a libra with a gemini chiron. Your insecurity is going to change right? But your lesson of the universe is not. If that makes any sense.
I see what you are trying to get at but I do not agree that it fits in the bigger scheme of things. Just a persona opinion.
Pressed the wrong button before getting to the point of.
Soul Mate, Reincarnation and Chiron are somewhat different. I think one can cleverly fuse them and make them relate.
I also do think that if you find your soulmate you reached step 1. If you overcome your chiron you reached step 2. If you reach your soul's goal you are golden and can go on your merry way wherever that may be.
