This may be a crazy question but I don't know much about the houses in astrology.
So apparently I don' have Pisces/Virgo in any of my houses but I have Taurus in my 5th and 6th and scorpio in my 11th and 12th.

I'm not quite sure how/if this is possible or what it means.
Can anyone explain?

wtf ——??

You two are talking about two different things ..... Pisces, Virgo, Scorpio, etc .. are not planets.

It's impossible to for Pisces or Virgo to not be in a house ... it's a wheel, the houses circle the wheel ..... unless you have a black hole in your natal chart where the Pisces and Virgo quandrants in the galaxy fell into ... they are in a house.

It is possible for houses to be empty of planets though.

actually it is possible. in my chart i'm missing taurus and scorpio in the houses that they should be in with a leo ascendant. it's called 'intercepted houses' and you can have one sign representing two houses. my virgo is in the second and third house while i have pisces in my eighth and ninth house. so yeah in a sense a blackhole i guess haha

That is exactly my pattern of house placements

Sorry I put planets in the thread title. I meant signs but it was late and I clearly confused myself with astrological jargon.

I was trying to find out about other people's planets aspected to my houses in synastry when I came across this whole one sign two houses business.

ck/, it looks like you have 'Intercepted Houses' like i do. Therefore, you will also have 'Duplicated Signs' - house cusps on each opposing axis. i've got 'Aries/Libra' Intercepted on the cusps of my 12th and 6th houses, and Gemini/Sag are my duplicated houses (two of each).

It's not that you (don't) have Virgo/Pisces houses, but they ARE well hidden & wholly contained within the houses of their respective cusp-signs. Think of "very enlarged" BIG houses or a room "within" a room. Intercepted houses will contain elements of BOTH signs-directly on the cusp & inside. Issues with House Interceptions are issues of latency, expression & balance between the 'traits' of the two hidden/intercepted signs & theme of the house. Kind of like doors with NO keys "you" have to unlock. Matters & "rulers" of your double-ruled houses should also be explored and can sometimes even assist you - Taurus/Scorpio..

(btw, the further you are away from the Equator, the greater the chance for 'House/Sign Interceptions).

..google for more info.
