Different Rising Signs

I was curious to know if anyone can answer why when I have plugged my birth data into several free natal chart services, I get two different rising signs. I have entered an exact time of birth. Several sites say my rising is Capricorn, but a couple say that it is Aquarius.

I feel like Capricorn is a more accurate description of me. What are your thoughts?

It is a technical issue with calculating when the sun will cross the horizon for a given hour, and that is earlier or later depending on daylight savings time (because we can't always say that being born at 6am means the sun is up yet).

So all the online calculators have to do math according to where exactly you were born and factor in if your state uses daylight savings time, if the month you were born was in daylight savings time. I guess blame the programmers and websites for not saying why rising sign depends on these things.

Knowing your exact birth time and place matters, I think I have had most success with the likes of calculators on these sites:

Yeah, thats happened to me. Go to astro, I find it to be the most accurate.

Okay, so I had not been to http://www.astro.com/. It says my ascendant is Capricorn. In fact, most of the sites DO say that it is Capricorn. I SO do not identify with an Aqua ascendant. Now, if I could just get a good interpretation of my chart.

How do you all feel about the free natal charts vs. paying to have one done?

Look at your chart...it'll make sense to you..I have put my data into different calcs, and I get a different rising too..some say I'm a sag (which I feel describes me better) and others say I'm a capricorn rising(which I didn't understand, until I looked at my chart wheel..it showed I was a 3rd decan sag rising..and you can look at the degrees to prove it..since each sign has 30 degrees and my sag risng was at 28...i'm basically on the cusp of capricorn..

So in short you're probably a bit of both.
