Okay you fixed signs, how would someone persuade you to change your opinion or an idea that is stuck in your head?
For instance, if you had an attitude that you should go about doing things a certain way or an ideology about politics or something you say you wouldn't do again....how could someone approach you to change your attitude about it?
Just a general question I thought might be an interesting discussion.

Okay, so concrete evidence and facts. I can work with that.
Is it better to present gradually and let it soak in or just matter of factly present it all at once?

Putting it all on the table at one time can induce cognitive dissonance depending on the issue.

Well then I guess the person who thinks they can change my mind will be the one to walk away, because I won't follow unless they can justify why I should change my thought process or decisions backed up with facts.
If someone wants to change what I think...bring it or stfu. Pretty simple.click to expand

To be blatantly honest...since learning about astrology....I'm much more likely to ponder and explore the thoughts of cardinal signs over mutable signs.....

Perhaps this thread will get interesting when the sheep come in. So far, it's logical and consistent.
From what I've seen in dxp...logic is not interesting, and typically looked down upon.

I have no opinion on the matter.
Just had to jump to show approval for this post. ^^^^
Couldn't agree more.

The easiest way would be through logic, but there are many other ways.
It really depends of the situation.click to expand

"you're wrong and here's why" = go fuck yourself, asshole.
"here is what i feel about what we're talking about" = i will listen

But what if you really are wrong? Like if you (well, not you personally Scorch) get a fact wrong and then find out later on that the other person was actually correct, wouldn't you have appreciated them letting you know so you didn't foolishly argue with a group of people on incorrect facts?
I suppose it's all in the approach, but some people get into that arguement mode and won't listen to a quietly suggested correction.
