Guessing the ascendant

A simple formula:

1. Pick a target. Become close to them.

2. Look to the type of people they complain about and constantly encounter. Do they hate clingers or seem to attract only assholes who are so full of themselves?

3. Think about your relationship with them. How do you act around them and why? What do you think of them?

Do you see an archetype emerging?

These 3 steps can give you clues towards the 7th house cusp, thus revealing the 1st house cusp as well.

I've checked my work. A close friend has a Capricorn ascendant, and she tells of all her past friendships being people who got to attached to her, who forced the title of "best friend" upon her. They looked up to her and wanted to be her, followed her and imitated her.

Another friend with Cancer asc shies away from possessive people that get too obsessed, and one of her ex boyfriends from 2 yr ago still calls her and asks where she is, what she's doing. People also are too quick to call her best friend like the cap asc, but in a different way. Thy don't do it because they admire her, but because they want to control her -capricorn.

My mom is aqua asc, and I figured it through this method. Everyone she interacts with is a fucking LEO, whether they are leo sun or not.

Oh, and it's not necessarily about the type of people that they encounter, but their own perception of those people. Imo the most obvious indicator of the 7th house cusp is the people they complain about and don't really like.

I'm trying to figuring more ways to find out ascendants because most people don't have their birth time and I'm trying to study different house positions.

I find it nearly impossible to find out someones rising sign. There are always two or three possibilities, it's too complicated unless you get their full birth chart.
