Life changing revelation?

A recent random conversation with my Gem mom led to this new discovery that my time of birth was wrong. It was never written on my birth cert so she was relying on memory (how reliable, IDK!). Initially thought that I was a Leo rising but it seldom sat right with me, not even 80% (thought I enjoy a little attention) and even more, I never really identified with the Taurus moon I thought I was. I remember reading about Aries moon and thought, that seems more like me but dismissed it on the grounds of the chart I knew using the ToB first told by my mom.

Now I found out that Im a Scorp rising and an Aries moon...and I dont even know what to make of that with my Cap Sun and Venus Aqua. Im tempted to carry on doing what Ive been doing but I am now aware of how much I want to be aware of my scorpio and aries traits(if any), like catch myself in the act but Idk how haha you know, just in case my mom got it wrong AGAIN!

Anyway if you could share your thoughts about the differences between leo asc and scorp rising and/or taurus moon and aries moon, or point me to the direction of sites detailing said charts, it'd be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
