Can Gemini's Adaptability Affect Their Relationships
Geminis' adaptability can lead them to prioritize their partner's needs over their own, risking loss of self. While flexibility benefits relationships, over-adapting may cause them to forget their true selves and create imbalance. Understanding this helps Geminis maintain authenticity while loving others.
That's an interesting thought. I think all of us can easily lose ourselves in love and trying to make someone happy and Geminis can get a little more creative than others. I think most of us want our partners to be happy because we want them to adore us. It's possible that we can hurt ourselves in the process...

A Gemini being in love with someone, and wanting to please him or her so bad, they adapt and they forget themselves? Morphing into a human they are not. Forcing themselves, because they get something out of the relationship.

To their own detriment, and I hate it.
I have two Gemini sun, Aries moon, Cancer Venus friends who have done this-- one moreso than the other, but she's had more time.
She changed herself to fit in, and they both give of themselves till it hurts.
And it is hard to watch, knowing that they're holding out for the other person to do the right thing--
They have A LOT of faith in their respective SO's-- very protective of them.

I have done this in the past, due to a fear of non-acceptance... But I also think it has to do with the person you're with.... The aqua accepted my TRUE self, flaws and all, and I think that's what makes the difference.
Not a lot of ppl are, or even know how to accept a person fully. Most want to make and mold someone into what they want instead of appreciating the real person.....

This^^^ I think it would be the adapting and the Venus in Cancer. It's so painful!!
USUALLY a gem's feelings are skin deep (my PERSONAL EXP. not sure about other gems). I know that for a fact and i dont pursue until ive had feelings for that person atleast 8-10 months. I detach myself way too easily its easy when i dislike tht person but for me trying to find tht stability where im not bored/tired of my crush is hard (my moon gemini placement). When i find that i CONSISTENTLY have feels for that person for over a long period of time. When i realize that the feelings are real i dont want to let go, who knows when will i find someone who can make me feel that way.

My friend made the comment (about 6 years in) that there is a part of her heart that she *always* guards--
Whether that's true or not idk... because she said that when she found out he cheated, it felt like death.
It was soon after that discovery that, instead of dumping him, she "adapted" fully, taking on his life style and forgetting her own-- though she made sure she finished that degree before drowning herself in excess.

I understand what you're saying-- and I'm honestly not familiar with Aquas in that capacity.
But the Gems I'm talking about could probably say the same of their SO's--
However, these people "accept" not because they're wonderful, giving people-- but because they directly benefit from the stability of their Geminis.
Gems can seemingly lose it and hold it together at the same time--
Hard to explain, but being a Gem maybe you know what I mean?
It's pretty remarkable, imo.

If you don't see a Geminis emotions, it means they can't trust you or aren't comfortable enough to open up. Plain and simple. I've never met a cold Gemini in my life.Gemini Moons are very different people than Gemini Suns.
