The other day,me and a friend were talking about how certain behavioural traits in people really ticked us off,and we came up with a conclusion. Every time u dislike someone,or certain traits that they possess, its because it reminds you of yourself. They act as a mirror where you see yourself in them, and u dislike it coz it reminds you of urself, yet you dnt want to accept it,or havent even discovered that u have these traits yet. What do u think??

It's possible that certain behaviours in others are ones you do yourself, but, it can't be assessed that every time you get pissed off that it's due to you having those unresolved issues.

I think it's more a matter of recognition. Just like when you buy a new car ... suddenly there are hundreds of these cars on the road .... they've always been there it's just that now you are recognizing it.

I agree! Irrational hate - as in they haven't done anything to me - is due to them having qualities I dislike in myself. That or I'm jealous of their fabulousness😛

Well, I think it's irrational to place the label of "hate" on feelings of difference.

Hate is fucking huge ... and shouldn't be so easily assumed.

If a person is angry, irritated, frustrated, etc ... doesn't equal hate.

This is true at the other side of the spectrum also .... I think it's irrational to place the label of love on feelings of different value, like: like, admiration, niceties, gratitude.

This can be true for many people at different times of their life. I strongly disagree with this topic regarding myself or other evolved people. I feel very evolved and those that piss me off are through and through douchebags, and I would never do a person wrong just because I think I am all cool or think I am perfect. I believe in the good in me, and that I can do good, I don't assume I am perfect or deserving of something automatically. Just how I am.

I had a friend post this same b.s. on facebook today, heard it said like 3 days ago, those who can't take their own medicine because they can't accept the fact they have faults of their own, this is true.

I don't think good people should be convincing themselves to forgive douchebags because hating on them means you dislike yourself.

omg did i post this?? Didnt think it came through. Anyways, it's supposed to be a certain quality that you see in a person, and you end up disliking them coz of that quality. Smeone who hasnt done anything to piss u off, smeone you dnt knw very well,bt at the same time, something that they portray is repelling. Im not saying everytime u dnt like smeone its coz they remind u of urself, that wouldn't make sense. Don't think too deeply guys, keep it simple.
When you find yourself disliking smeone you just met,or smeone you dnt knw well, there's just somethng about them that ticks u off. And u usually dnt have a concrete reason. But there's just smethng they do,or possess that gets to you.
I met this guy a while ago,and he just annoyed me at first. So my friend asks me why i dnt like him,and i hardly even knw him. So i tell her that hes such a showoff, who thinks he can charm any grl, plus hes got ths ego,and she goes 'yeah so basically hes a gy version of urself and thats y he annoys u' and then it hit me. I saw myself in him!lol

If you use that reason ... then how are you accountible for yourself?

If a person is upset with you, and you attribute their upset as being their own issue ... then that pretty much excuses you from what you did to upset them, now doesn't it?

In this theory .. a person would never have to do a self-check.

u jumped the gun here. I meant, when u have no real reason to dislike smeone, but u find urself getting annoyed by them. I dnt mean in every situation where u dnt like the person...or when they piss u off.thats a whole different story
