What happens when the pleasure of Venus falls in the so misunderstood 12th house?

My husband has trouble accepting love and sometimes acts in ways that push people (and me except I'm determined not to be) away. He has mentioned that he knows he needs to remind himself that he is deserving of love. Like he knows intellectually that everyone deserves love but he needs to be reminded that it applies to him as well. Loving a 12th house Venus person is not for the faint of heart.

My Venus is in the 12th house of Pisces. I dream of the perfect soulmate. In love, I fear I may overwhelm and suffocate others. This causes me to pull back. So I express myself artistically through poetry and photography.

I also get taken advantage of for my naturally philanthropic nature. I've dealt with that, by giving of myself to the protection of animals and nature. A 12th house Venus is just something you need to work with in life. It's not always easy, but it's great if you're artistic because you have visions of the universe that few others have and you can share them with others to everyone's benefit.
