Tell me about Rx planets in your chart and how you feel they affect you, I'm fascinated by retro's and how they work.

I have Rx mars in Leo, and I find it EXCEEDINGLY difficult to express anger and similar feelings, I'm not positive why, I just get nervous and I feel like if I stand up and say something it's gonna end up biting me right on the ass. It's virtually impossible for me to assert myself in even trivial conversations. I simply can't say no to people or tell them that they're offending me. It's not that I feel like my opinions are weak, it's more that I just can't bear arguments or confrontation.

I'm also gay, which I find interesting considering mars is a "masculine" planet. What about you guys?

The description fits me to a T. However, I wasn't punished severely as a kid lol. Really I think I kind of just inherited the trait from my mother. She's also passive (almost to a fault). I haven't looked at her chart because she doesn't have a time of birth, but it would be interesting to see if we shared retro mars. Hmmm...

And I know Leo is ruled by the sun, which represents the father and masculine energy, and with Rx mars in Leo I guess I can see traits particular to this placement. I was always kind of feminine as a kid, although I could still whoop my brothers ass while wrestling and stuff. My father was always pretty distant as well. I don't know. It's all really interesting

i have mercury, jupiter, uranus, neptune, pluto just like auriqa... plus the node (but i've heard this one is common).

it certainly affects me, it is one of the thing in astrology that i can identify myself the most...

"Uranus R in the 5th — They see themselves as normal but others see them as anti-social and they always feel left out of these normal situations. They are unconventional and, therefore, become —wallflowers?? until they find their place in an unconventional world." Has been like that my whole life. I always tried to change that and now i'm much better, i just hope i change even more.

venus R seems hard : /
so is mercury R. i hate reading about mercury R

I have 3 retrograde planets.
Mercury R in Leo.
I wasn't affected at all by the last transit.
In fact, I had remarkable clarity.
If anything, I've noticed I tend to leap rungs on the logic ladder.
This gets difficult when explaining a concept, because I often have to backtrack and guide the audience through the skipped rung to the one I'm on. Sometimes comes off as condescending unless they're familiar with me and the 'absent minded professor' I tend to be.

The other two I found interesting, because they tie into some things I encountered in some past life regression sessions and an encounter with a numerologist.

"In addition, many retrograde planets can make one introverted and shy. People who have four or more of their planets retrograde are known as "late bloomers." -That sounds a lot like me. I've become more outgoing over the years; I was definitely a late bloomer compared to my peers; not physically but in other ways.

Retrograde planets: Jupiter in Aqua, Saturn in Scorpio, Uranus in Sag, and Neptune in Cap.

Jupiter Rx: "There may be a great questing and seeking but, until they look inside, they will never find what they feel they are seeking. Their inner faith has some doubts or holes on it. This is why they are always searching for something that would give meaning to their lives — what they seek is anything that is philosophically uplifting." -I feel that way alot, even more so recently. I almost afraid that even if I have everything I wanted, I'll never be fully content.
"Jupiter R in the 4th Houses have an ability and willingness to go back and make a connection/relationship work." -I do always have the willingness to go back and make a relationship work; even when I know I shouldn't. 😢

Saturn Rx: "When Saturn is R natally, these people need to teach themselves to say NO, to set boundaries, to learn exactly what is expected of them, and to learn an accurate sense of responsibility. They need to go out into the world and stake out their own boundaries, fight that invisible barrier they create for themselves." -This is me all the way, yo. Ugh!
Saturn in the 2nd naturally feels that —you only get what you work for and you work hard for everything you get.?? They observed their own parents working very hard to provide for them so they adopted this —work hard?? pattern or philosophy. When ??_, they can feel financially responsible for everyone. -This was my childhood.

Uranus Rx: "When ??_, it gets blocked initially (not honored by the individual who sees him or she self as very normal) and then it explodes. Intuition has fits of explosion that seems more creative over all — they have a dry spell (in weather, when you have no rain) when they do not feel creative at all and then BOOM!" -Mines was blocked for awhile and then the full moon hit this week, now I feel like writing a whole bunch of stuff.

Uranus R in 2nd is not in touch with the need to be unconventional in how they earn a living. If they get into normal jobs, it manifests in a lack of financial stability — they do not realize that the instability is part of their rebelling against the normal. -I'm not sure how to take this. I work security and people expect that from me cause my parents are police officers, but this job is not for me neither is law enforcement.

Neptune Rx: "Neptune rules where you have an ability to manifest, to creative from your imagination, but R may not be aware of this ability. Neptune R is extremely sensitive, more so than direct, because of the connection with unseen realms. This is where their creativity expresses itself — through the psychic, the metaphysical, the intuitive, the spiritual, the humanitarian — not something traditionally seen as creative." -This sounds like me alot. People tell me I have certain..'abilities'. But, I still doubt it.

"Because of their heightened sensitivity, they need to avoid drugs, alcohol and stimulants. This heightened sensitivity can encourage fears, paranoia and phobic conditions — that connection with the unseen realities, the veil between the seen and the unseen." -Well, damn. That's creepy.

"Neptune in the 3rd is often attracted to using a nickname because it changes their vibration. A study in numerology is helpful here. They have an affinity with numbers. They sometimes get lost easily."
-It's funny cause I do like using nicknames (i.e. Fenyx, Loba) more than my actual name. I don't have a closeness to numbers (except for 5 & 13), I'm more of a symbols gal. 😉

that Venus retro description is dead on for me...that makes me sad lol

Ikr 😢 lmao, when I first read it - i couldn't believe how spot on it seemed.
There are also some little descriptions for the sign the retro-venus is in.
Venus Retrograde in Leo
With Venus in Leo and retrograde, the need for reassurance common to many people born with Venus retrograde is pronounced. There can be a tendency to be devout and loyal to the wrong people, or to stick with a bad relationship for too long. When insecure, they may show affection through generous gifts, which can be misunderstood. Retrograde Venus in Leo may not be as confident in love as the rest of the Venus in Leo group, although they may not let others know this, nevertheless acting with pride and hiding their wounds from love, or covering up their fear of rejection with a veneer of confidence."

Imo, the longer/general description really sums a lot of it up for me.

Sigh...some of the leo part I can relate to too :/ lol
but yeah that longer description really hit home for me.

My only retrograde placement is jupiter and I can relate to this description. Jupiter rx doesn't seem that bad, though, so I'm glad that I only got this one.
