I don't understand this. I think Mutable is even stronger then the other modes because Mutable signs have room to grow and continuously grow. They are adaptable and open-minded to new opportunities, new concepts.
I analysed a year at random, l got 196 days where the Sun and Mercury were the same sign, and 169 days where they were in different signs.

Yes ego is what we hear and even so what's aspecting comes into play then where it's placed with those aspects, however interestingly enough don't you find that despite aspects and houses certain signs resonate strongly than others in the sun, the moon, or rising? For instance does Gemini Suns resonates stronger than rising? Sag moons resonates stronger than sag risings? Pisces risings resonates stronger than Pisces Suns. Libra suns resonates stronger than Libra risings? I'm not trying to start a superiority inferiority debate. I'm only trying to understand objectively if these signs have stronger placements for them than others. I know it can be hard for some of us to not get subconsciously attached to our signs/chart setup. I find Libra suns exhibit more intellectual energies than other placements. Also that Gemini Suns seem to exhibit more mental and Gemini trademark energies than other placements, followed by gem moons.
Sag moons I've spotted easily, similar to gem moons. Their generally are easy to get to smile, laugh, joke, very dependent on optimistic energies. And give off an air of detachment (love their freedom). Aquarius moons give off more cerebral energies than suns and risings. Very reserved 9 times out of 10. Even Pisces Suns have been more mental and rarely as emotional with these aqu moons. Cap moons/rising resonates stronger than cap suns possibly (as one said they come off a little scorpionic). And Scorpio risings have resonates stronger than Scorpio Suns. What are your thoughts? Now resonates could have a general meaning I'll admit. It could mean they give off the energy more, or go exhibit more physical/mental characteristics, etc.
