Hades Moon

I came across this 3-part article, and figured I would pass it along.

It's discussing Judy Hall's book, The Hades Moon: Pluto in Aspect to the Moon.

The Hades Moon I

Hades Moon II: The darkness that is mine

Hades Moon III: When our darknesses meet

Links to the second and third parts are in the article.

If you've read the book, or done any research on Hades Moon, I would love to know what you think.

"One of the characteristics of natives with the Hades Moon, Judy Hall notes, is the karmic link to other people with Hades Moons. She provides numerous examples in her book, which point to individual and familial karma.

After I put the book down, I logged in to my astrology software and looked at the charts of my family and close friends, including those with whom the closeness was only short-lived. Should I be surprised that every single one has a Hades Moon?
"

From P. III-

Thanks 🙂

Hades moon always fascinated me. I came across these articles before 🙂

So I'll chime about a few things, if you don't mind.

The only other Hades moon I know is my cousin, and it's a weak Hades moon. So idk what's up with every single one of her close relations having hades moon, other than maybe it's just not that uncommon of a thing. BUT I do have a Scorpio-magnet built into me, and it's also a bit of a Scorpio radar.

The devouring womb resonates with my life. My mother has had 5 miscarriages. Blood clotting problem. So yeah, hostile environment. And when I was born until I was 2 years old I was in/out of hospitals. In fact, I didn't have much an immune system and there's a home video of me around 18 months where I was living in a bubble (like the legit bubble-boy) only it was a plastic bubble that filled an entire room of the hospital. In exchange, I've had ridiculously good health for the rest of my life since.

Damn. o.O

I think the childhood sickness aspect in this placement is intriguing-- sad, yes-- but its emphasis is on survival.

So still-- very intriguing.

I'm going to come back to this, in a bit. 🙂

I don't have any hades moons in my immediate family......until now.

The girlfriend to my son has a hades moon....so does her mother AND father.........and ironically enough, so does my grandson (her son).

It is fascinating to me that they are 'clustered' like that.

I agree.

I didn't know I had one (or I forgot), until I saw your response to NYAA about "dodging the bullet."

Or not dodging it. :/

Bleh.. lol

But yes.. looking thru charts, and so far-- just my grandmother (paternal) had one.

Still looking though 🙂

Here's some pretty good, if somewhat brutal, snippets from the book on Hades Moons by Judy Hall.

http://books.google.com/books?id=AMy_jLQcVKsC&pg=PA264&lpg=PA264&dq=cancer+hades+moon&source=bl&ots=p0AuW4kxuN&sig=n_Z6nVsSKfiFlmaYs3numWphl5E&hl=en&sa=X&ei=ZqUoU4P-LYOcyQHOxoHYAQ&sqi=2&ved=0CCgQ6AEwAA#v=onepage&q=cancer% 20hades% 20moon&f=false

Thanks, TMV.. 🙂

Do you have this aspect?

Yikes.

Sounds heavy. o.O

I think it's easy to see the aspect that way at first but it really comes down to perception more than anything. There are far more difficult "Hades" configurations to handle than the trine.

Personally I feel more in tune with the intuitive and regenerative traits than anything. There have been quite a few times in my life where I've been forced to confront my own inner darkness whether I wanted to or not, and it was never easy, but it's always lead to growth and healing. Almost a Scorpionic transformation of the self, on a conscious level anyway.

The most difficult issues for me to deal with which were highlighted in that book are having to do with learning how to let go and territorial tendencies. And of course the "devouring" mommy issues but I don't expect Pluto's presence is necessarily required for someone to experience those.
