since certain signs are "at home" in certain planets, would that mean that there can be a "perfect chart"? i read that the following is a list of which planet rules each sign(s)

Sun: Leo
Moon: Cancer
Mercury: Gemini or Virgo
Venus: Taurus or Libra
Mars: Aries
Jupiter: Sagittarius
Saturn: Capricorn
Uranus: Aquarius
Neptune: Pisces
Pluto: Scorpio

...so if you have this combination, that would be really good right? Or what about the opposite...

or the "Worst Chart"

Sun: Libra
Moon: Scorpio
Mercury: Leo
Venus: Virgo
Mars: Cancer
Jupiter: Capricorn
Saturn: Aries
Uranus: Taurus
Neptune: Capricorn
Pluto: Aquarius

...i don't like thinking that there is a "worst sign" but this leads me to believe that if somebody had all their signs in the "right" planet, it's to their benefit. Obviously we're all different and so many other factors contribute to who we are, but what would be the effect of having all your signs in the wrong planet?

in theory it is possible to have the "perfect" chart in strictly astrological terms. however, in reality it's impossible. i'm not feeling up to getting into the specifics too much right now...but i'll try to give a simple answer. the planets can never be aligned in such a way that creates the theoretically perfect chart when a person is born. for instance, a person's mercury must always be within one sign of their sun. so someone who has mercury in gemini will never ever ever have sun in leo; it's not possible. same goes for the "crappy" chart.

if it were possible though, it probably wouldn't manifest itself in the ways we'd expect. like them sucking at communicating or having low self-esteem. any chart can be a good chart, depending on how you use it and what you learn from it. as an example, i have mercury in leo (woe is me!!) but have not found it to be significantly impairing. i'm actually a pretty good writer.

in addition to the signs are the houses...the house each sign falls in is also thought to have an impact on how it is displayed. so, a person who has sun in libra in the 5th house (this is just a theoretical example) may find that their sun feels more "at home" there than someone who has libra sun in the 6th. hope that wasn't too complicated!

"so someone who has mercury in gemini will never ever ever have sun in leo"
you could be like me and have mercury in virgo with sun in leo 🙂

but yeah just because all of the planets occupy the sign they function best in doesn't mean it will make a chart perfect. you'll still get your stressful aspects like aries sun square cancer moon, leo sun square pluto in scorpio, and things like that. the energies would be so intense from having such forceful placements that the person might as well go crazy under such pressure.

"aspects are ONLY made if the orbits between the planets are tight enough to produce an aspect (aspects are usually up to 10 degrees in orbit, but are usually only taken seriously till about 5 degrees), so you can actually have Aries Sun, Moon in Cancer and still them not form a square with one another."

okay, lets say aries sun is in the first 10 degrees and cancer moon is in the last 20 degrees. those are only two planets, what if you have a venus in libra or venus in taurus? that can either square the sun or moon or be squared by lets say saturn in capricorn, libra, or aquarius. and if you do go with venus in taurus or saturn in aquarius, they can still be squared by pluto in leo or scorpio.

you scrutinize it so much you don't even look at the big picture shaks, maybe it's just your virgo influence but that's okay 🙂

"WRONG. Its not a matter of you WILL but rather you COULD, it could happen, NOT WILL, the different use of these TWO words when debating something can make a great deal of difference, even if it seems trivial to you."

okay really? so all you are merely doing is pointing out a small error in what is along the same lines as my original point? enough with the nitpicking. why don't you actually prove something and make a perfect chart with no stressful aspects. until then you are really in no place to falsely accuse me of being wrong. we're done. unless you choose to drag it out longer.

Saturn in Scorpio
You can be very self-disciplined. You have executive ability and are
perceptive and extremely capable. You may have psychic ability.
People may find you difficult to understand because of your reserved
exterior and secretiveness. Your mind may be mechanically oriented and
you are resourceful, even under the most adverse circumstances,
patient and persistent. The action and energy of Mars is combined with
the forethought of Saturn in a most wonderful combination. Whatever
you do is done with intensity. On the negative side, though, there is
danger of stubbornness, revenge, lack of forgiveness, resentment, and
ruthlessness. Tendencies to grub for money and prestige can cause
harm. There can be health problems with constipation or hemorrhoids.
There is a need to transform your desires. You need to learn when and
how to let go. This also applies to eliminative bodily functions.
Holding onto anger can cause stones to develop in the gall bladder or
kidneys.

i agree, isn't perfection rather perceptional, anyway. You know, the beholder & the eye thingy. Kind of like someone's trash is another's treasure or vice versa.. i think we are ALL born with the charts we are mean't to have. Both the great & challenging side-by-side, and it's the challenges in life that give us all character & strength, in the end. i know i am happy with my chart, and wouldn't want to change it. 🙂

hopefully nobody got their panties in a bunch over this. i should have explained better that i was reading something that classified signs as "Ruler", "Exalted", "Detriment", and "Fall" (ruler being the best, fall being the worst) when they are in the different planets. Since each sign is ruled by a different planet, signs feel more "at home" in their planets. I dont't know why but Libra showed as "Fall" for Sun and Leo was "Ruler" of Sun because obviously, Leo is ruled by the Sun. Since Libra and Taurus are ruled by Venus, they are classified as "Ruler" and for whatever reason, Virgo is classified as "fall". I know somebody posted about this classification chart not too long ago
