The should have beens.

My mom and I got on the topic of my nature as a Capricorn the other day, and how strange it is that I tend to get along with (and attract) more fire signs than water and earth. And she brought up something that leads me to wonder - I was supposed to be born early December, I think the 3rd. But I ended up in the womb til the 31st instead. Long stretch of time. I would have been born a Sagittarius - and, oddly enough, she and I find myself fitting the traits of a Sagittarius/Capricorn cusp pretty often, and I never believed in cusps being able to determine much. Sometimes I downright just match personality/physical traits said to be carried by Sags. There isn't even a lot of fire in my chart at all. Lots of scorpio though.

We brought up my brother too - who was born a Cancer, but behaves more like a Leo, and he was meant to be born around that period of time. I mean it's more than likely just coincidence, but I suppose I'm curious of other thoughts.

I was supposed to be a Leo cusper. I identify a lot with Virgo though.

My sister is a virgo/leo cusp (on the Leo side). But she behaves a lot more like a virgo. I don't know. I can relate to the sardonic and reserved aspects of capricorn, as well as the business mentality and old-soul rep I've had since I was a kid. But when they describe Sagittarius physically (as far as gait, stature, and gestures etc) it's as though they hit the nail on the head. And I've always behaved more extroverted than what caps are given credit for, my attitude tends to differ in small but certain ways. Not denying I'm a cap, for sure.
