Venus in Virgo A.K.A you have to be perfect.

Love godess in the Virgin sign... how promising. I've been looking for this placement all over the web and all I see is the same paragraph copied and pasted, so I would like to hear some real experience from here!

What I've discovered until now: Venus is in fall here, so this is not gonna be the most confortable placement for love. I think all the time in how to make every single thing around me perfect; including relationships, cause I hate chaos , And because I'm in a mercury ruled sign, I feel happy getting stuff done, like organizing, listing, cleaning and meticulously planning things. I'm super critical with the ones I love and with me. I show my love through practical details, and day-by-day routines. I'm reserved and my sex live is boring or "dysfunctional", for I consider that love is more about a caring responsability and a duty than a emotional thrill or pleasure.

Also-- look at the aspects with other signs; that may give you a better description/what you're looking for (e.g. Venus trine Jupiter).

Typically I go along with my Venus being Libra because it sounds prettier and I like even numbers, but depending on which chart I use it shows up as either being at 0?? Libra or 29?? Virgo. I'm not sure if I identify with Venus in Virgo descriptions because it's in cusp limbo or if it's resonating with my other Virgo placements. Maybe both.


Just out of curiosity, you call yourself a "mercury ruled sign", but in your profile you list a Libra Sun which would be Venusian and a Leo Ascendant which would make your chart ruler the Sun. How did you come to conclusion that you were Mercurial?

Venus is conjuncting the moon in my chart, right at the end of the second house. (moon falls in libra just by 0??28' degrees). It's also trine with uranus and neptune and sextile pluto. So at least is not bad aspected (yeeei!!)
Venus in second house apparently means material growth and prosperity, and the moon conjunction is more about sensibility, the arts, and lots, lots of charm. Veeeery passive aspect. And trines and sextile amplify this traits.
Well, that adds a little more spice to the previous description. 🙂

Ouuuups! sorry, I made a typewriting mistake. What I was trying to say is that Venus was in a sign ruled by mercury, but autocorrect seemed to have his own opinion about the matter.

It's great that you ask, though, because I believe I'm much more mercurial than venusian. My pullen chart shows exactly the same influence for both of the planets, 13% , so there's no reason for my preference, but I relate much more to the descriptions applied to virgo in libra (practical, analitical, critical) and mercury in scorpio (sharp comments, deep thinking, obsessive) than anything else in my chart. Don't know why, I just feel the other descriptions are not me at all.

What's wrong with me today? my brain is trolling me hard.

My ex had Venus in Virgo, I could never be "perfect" in his eyes, never satisfied. Very critical, I would have done anything to just feel emotional acceptance, unconditional from him. It felt more like a business deal than a romantic/intimate relationship.

I am not meaning this in a bad way, I don't want to feel like I am speaking ill of him. Venus in Cancer here..
