YOD -- The Finger of God?

Anyone have this configuration in their chart?

I think I have two in mine.

The Yod aspect pattern is a configuration between at least three planets or points in the

horoscope to create a long triangle which looks like a witches hat. A Yod is also called the

Finger of Fate, Finger of God or the Projection Triangle, and has been the source of much debate

and controversy within the astrological community.

A Yod cannot be analyzed like this. It must be examined carefully: masculine vs. feminine, modality, element, planets involved, most importantly houses, and the other aspects of the planets involved in the Yod.

This analysis determines whether the Yod is malefic or benefic. Generally, Yod are malefic. And, unlike all the other characteristics of our chart, cannot be overcome, in essence - fate, God. You would have to be a spiritual warrior or, buckle your seat belt for major events involved in those houses.

I imagine Jesus having a Yod. He overcame, he was a spiritual warrior.

I think I have one from my descendant to my ascendant. What's that mean?

I have one with Pluto (6th house) at the apex... Mars (12th) and the Moon (11th) in sextile.

Another with Merc (4th) and Pluto (6th) in sextile, with the Moon (11th) at the apex.


That's what I've found so far-- if you know of any resources you could share that could point

me in the right direction, I would be grateful.

I count inconjuncts but the thing is their premise isn't very helpful. I mean the whole premise of a yod is the idea God is pointing towards some purpose in your life that you will never know within this lifetime yet your meant to just have faith in where it's pointing to anyway and keep mushing on without answers.

Probably goes well with a Pisces Moon still.

I have two as well, in which the first one is a formation of planets in their domicile signs: Mercury, Mars and Pluto. The second one has Jupiter (11th house), Neptune (6th house) and Orcus (1st house) on it.

this is very awesome. But sadly, spiritual warriors or people with "gifts" are not very taken seriously in the world. They are usually ostracized. So it's best if they remain underground. Honestly, the path that Jesus took was too sorrowful and terrible. he did so much and then what did people do? They still nailed him at the cross and hated him.
People like this are always misunderstood in life.

I will need to see your entire natal chart, especially in analysis of two Yods.

I so want to post what I have ascertained so far but, I have to see the full condition of the houses and all the other aspects of the planets involved in the Yods.

Yes, they are often loved after death. Rebirth is a major theme.

God turned himself into a man to pay all of our karmic debts if we so choose to believe. Thus, he gave himself a karmic debt — a Yod per se, so he could share in the human experience and difficulties with us, to empathize, to overcome, and serve as an example to us all that we can overcome.

I imagine that a Yod is the making of a Super Hero or a Super Villain - persons who succumb to a Yod and just reveres in the disconnected energy, Super Villain; or, person willing to connect disjointed energy within into an amazing ability. The movie —Unbreakable?? with Samuel L. Jackson and Bruce Willis comes to mind for some reason.

I definitely believe they are relevant both in synastry and birth charts. They tell you how where the energies are disconnected and what are the opportunities at hand to deal with dire situations.
