This book I would seriously reccomend to any 'Bob Dylan' fan who may be a little more interested than just listening to the music of this singing legend. Clinton Heylins 'Behind The Shades' is an almost day to day account of the singers life from child hood right through to present day. The eye witness feeling you get from reading this book is extraordinary, almost as if you're watching from the sidelines. The remarkable thing here is, that 'Heylin' as he states himself, has never even met the man. Well researched and revised, this is probably the most accurate read you are likely to ever come accross about the man who changed the course of music forever.
