Advice on keeping my Cancer male interested

I can only comment on the mood swings. It may sound strange but, if I think of something in the past I tend to react like it just happened. i.e. get sad, happy, irritated, etc. Sometimes when someone does something to annoy us, instead of addressing it then we just either get snappy or go quiet. My Libra sister likes to show up unannounced sometimes or invite herself over and wonders why I'm in a mood. Even if I told her I don't want company now, it's misconstrued as a "mood."

I have had a hell of a time with my cancer boyfriend. I will tell you it's hard, but if you really want it to work you have to put forth a monumental effort for this relationship. I have successfully worked through it for over a year now and we are finally going strong.

I am open to any questions you may have about this relationship.

As for keeping him interested: I can only speak for my man. I have noticed that he needs continuous assurance that I care about him. I find the more I put into showing him my interest, he will show interest in me as well. Now, this doesn't ALWAYS work, but it will certainly help the situation. Sometimes I could tell him 50 times a day that I love him and before we fall asleep at night he will still ask "do you still love me" as if I have already changed my mind.

Another thing is to be honest and sincere. If you are not sincere he can see right through it and think you are not trustworthy. Try not to make fun of him even if he teases you all day, it's harder for him to take it then it is for him to dish out. In my case, I am teased everyday but when I say something to him that is a joke everything gets serious, then I have prepare to hear about it for the next few days.

Of course there is a lot more to keeping him interested. Is there something particular going on that made you think he was not interested?

As for mood swings I get them pretty bad myself.
