Any success stories?

Hello: I'm a lurker stepping out of the shadows to hopefully hear a few success stories where long term patience has worked with a cancer man. Meaning, you stuck it out through hot and cold behavior over a long period of time and finally passed "the test". Are there any of these success stories out there? Important note: You stuck through it because you believe in the cancer man and understand him, not to play games. I'd also be very interested to hear any insight on this from the cancer guys on this board.

i am in the beginning with my cancer man...though, to tell you the truth, i don't know what's going on right now if anything, at this point.

so i guess i am in the middle of the testing...the first four months were great but the last two, he's been totally pulling away and i don't know if that will change but, i also know i've been adding to it with my reactions so i am trying to give him lots of space and just go about my own life now.

I know exactly what you are going through. I have been dating a cancer man for about 8 months and some days he is right there with me and other days he is indifferent. When we are together he usually cannot get enough of me and things are darn near perfect but when we are not together he can be distant or right there with me, I just never know. He has a very hard time sharing his feelings for me although when I ask him (which I dont do very often) he says I show you how I feel all the time and while this is true, it would be nice to hear it. He know exactly how I feel and where he stands with me all the time but yet he needs to hear it all the time or I think he doesnt believe it is true. THis is the most wonderful yet frustrating relationship I have ever had. SIGH...

I don't need a long 'test' for people. It's very quick. Unfortunately, few pass it and even fewer are willing to engage in friend-like behavior after I say congrats and hand them their gold star. they are more like... uhwtf, u clingy fukin crab!!!


Another note, is Cancer the only board where most of the people are non cancers talking about Cancers? lol. The actual Cancers rarely make threads.

GO AWAY WITH DA BULLSHIT. Let the Cancers play together.
