Are cancer men possessive to the extremes ?

would luv to know if a cancerian guy is extremely possessive in their relationships.?

do they keep eye on their girl friends activities ?

I'm not a guy, but I'm a cancer and I pretty much behave in the extremes or not at all. when the mood comes, not all the time. Remember cancers use their intuition even if they dont know it, and if a person, or something represents a treat, the crazyness begins.
Other thing, it is not only physical cheating that we fear, but psychological cheating.
Do any other cancers agree with this?

They could be. I think mine usually gets like that when he's feeling a bit insecure. Just the other day he started questioning me on who was texting me and why I walked so far off just to talk on the phone. Anywho, we were both kinda buzzing by the time he took my cell without my noticing and I think he looked through it cuz one of my new messages was read (and THAT tells me that his possessiveness has been acting up big time because I've forgotten my phone with him before and he has never looked through it or my stuff at all) Anyway I had erased most of them, except that I have a loooottt of guy numbers in there. Anyway, he knows that I have guy friends and that I don't go out with anyone else... he just doesn't like me talking to them too much, especially if they're single.

Anyway, whew, you really do learn a lot as the relatinship progresses because he seems just a tad bit paranoid lately and I now know how he felt when I used to be so jelous of him. It's like 'damn I can't even look at my phone cuz he's thinking something weird' and that's how he used to feel. Not only that but yesterday we went on a trip and saw this place where you can go horseback riding up in the mountains so he got the number number down. He asked me if I'd ever been horseback riding and I said 'yeah' so he asked when and with who. I told him with 'some guy' a while back... him: 'guy you were talking to? where'd you go?' So I told him yes and that he owned horses that he sometimes raced and that I couldn't remember where he kept them. He asked for his name and I told him that I couldn't remember ( I really can't remember his name ) So he was like 'whatever' then asked about his age(25) and how long ago I had dated him. He said that he knew his name (kinda in a joking manner) so he was like 'i know his name and i won't tell' so I told him that I wouldn't tell either cuz it was so long ago that I couldn't even remember his name. He seemed jealous of this guy who I haven't talked to in ages! So he was either trying to get something outta me or I'm sure he's got the wrong person (probably thinking that it might be someones name from my cell or texts) but I don't even have his number anymore plus I dated others after him, so if he thinks he knows... I'm sure he's wrong.

Maybe he's insecure because of the problems we had not so long ago where I broke up with him. He told me that we still need to have a long talk to clear up everything COMPLETELY, anything at all that might still be bugging us... even though we're doing quite well but I guess he wants to make sure that we're completely ok...?

Don't mind the jealousy or possessiveness... but to an extent, just as long as it doesn't get outta hand.

It's really strange i used to date this cancer while back and thinking back I dont think he ever showed any traits of insecurity or possessiveness. It was me who constantly checking out his cell phone and text messages lol

so maybe because I constantly give my cutie cancer plenty of emotional supports(I always make sure he knows how I feel about him)that's why my sweet crabby is not possessive at all, because I'm albe to fulfill his emotional needs and make him feel secure. He's so trusting me, he never question me where do I go and who do I hang out with but of cause sometimes I would mention about some guys hitting on me and he would get all jealous like a little kid so cute, only slightly not overly jealous. I think he's the perfect cancer, not that clingy not too possessive but still carries those great traits like witty, caring and sweet...too many good stuffs to talk about him. I like the fact that he's able to give me space and still trust me like I do for him. I really think it's a two way street in a health relationship. It also has to do with how he was brought up and the relationship he had in the past plus life experiences occurred over time that makes him who he is today. I have to say he's not only my proud marine but a cute crabby too 🙂

I wouldn't call it possesive I would call it Manipulative (verbally abusive even)....

I am vey posseive when in love,,,,But not to the extreme of wanting to control someone's every move

My X was also a Cancer and he became verbally abusive after I found out he was cheating on me. I think it was a way to try to control me to keep me around because all his dirty laundry was being aired... That didnt last long... That is why we are not together till this day. I think it might of just been him and the fact that he was crazy.... I would ask him why he felt the need to say those type of things to me if he loved me and he would tell me because they were true...
