I ask because my best friend since high school has always been late for everything or makes us wait for her for hours, it's like she has no sense of time lol. I love her to death but what is up? It's been 9 years and I fear this will never change, no matter how much I complain 😆... I have accepted it just wondering how is it for most cancers?

Ok maybe hours is an exaggeration...

I'm chronically late but I try not to be. I'm a little better about appointments if I set an alarm but mostly I'm just late, even if it's 5 min. Why? Because time has little meaning to us. We're so busy with the internal world we have on top of the social butterfly thing and heaven help everyone around us if we happen to be creative because then we're getting engrossed in some art project or other endeavors and all bets are off as to time tracking.

I WAS married to a Taurus and he's annal retentive about being not just on time but 30 min. early if he had his way. That's fine if you have an appointment to keep but it would drive me nuts when he was being so militant about being on a time schedule for something that didn't require one. For instance, going backpacking or camping...there's no time that we HAD to be hiking, no one we were meeting or going to be late for and he would be this rigid, tightly wound asshole while getting ready for the event and have a fit if we didn't leave RIGHT when he had planned to leave. It would be so miserable dealing with him that I stopped wanting to do anything with him. He made fun stuff NOT FUN. He couldn't relax to save his life.

I have to admit to not always being on time... But I also try my best and I hate to have people waiting on me. So I can't fault her, there are times it does drive me crazy because we always have plans and I don't always get to see her so I want to get the most time out of our visits when we can. I know her responsibilities are very time consuming, nothing I can do about that... I'd just like her to be on time once in a while. I use to get soo upset with her, but know I just ~sigh~ and let it go! that's my boosky lol.

rofl...Well, CC, he really was horrid. Still is but now I can hang up on him when he's being an ass. He's a good example of taurus gone wrong. My brother in law is way more laid back and relaxed (also a Taurus). I think the ex embodies the unevolved type with all the negative traits amplified. Every sign has them and every sign has people who are horrid examples. Lets face it, if us Cancers don't watch for our negative traits and try to gain control of them we could be the poster child for Cancer's gone wrong: needy, clingy, stalkers, crybabies, manipulative, etc. Life is a learning experience. I did learn how to better manage my time thanks to the ex. He's still a motherfucking piece of shit asshole, though. 😉

edited to fix where a chunk got deleted on accident.

I do truly believe that having expectations and checking in has helped me, my Aries friend texts me multiple times prior to us meeting, and really gets on me-for instance if she's picking me up-she be like if your not out there im leaving-

that has kind of retrained my brain into respecting her time-she basically makes me feel GUILTY-IT works.

Haha I do the same thing to my cancer friend... At least now, she's almost ready by the time I get there... I'm more patient with her compared to our Gemini friend and others in our group of friends. She knows where I stand and I do see the effort she puts... I know if I don't contact her at least every 2-4 hrs when we have plans, she won't make it...

Hahhaha don't be jelly, that when i threw up that one night, that someone complimented me on how i threw up, i'm a Cancer, we just classy like that.

No seriously when i throw up (and no not from alcohol, i have a weak stomach area), it's a nightmare, it comes from the organs-out, i heave, cry, and scream-its pretty disgusting..but i'll take my one night of classy-I deserve it.

lmao.

I am jelly = ( throwing up is never fun I Hate it too! for me just when I drank excessively, bile and everything last for hours, feels like everything is dying inside -_-

funny how this thread is suddenly about vomiting now when we started up on time management issues... lmao

roflmao...omg, that gif! Perfecto!

I'm open but also not. It's a strange combo that makes people think I've spilled my guts when in reality they just got the tip of the iceburg.

😆 I Thought so too I Loove Zooey Deschanel! I would love to know her in person >_> (creep) I'm always spilling my guts... I think its only been a month or so since I joined (maybe not even that) and I've already spilled my guts all over dxp 😆

I don't know.
I'm punctual for anything business, and generally slightly early.
Planned vacations and events-timetable.
Casual parties - a little more loose.

I try and plan tasks so time is used more efficiently. Example - put stuff in the laundry (longest time), cook dinner (while laundry is going), and maybe vacuum/dust while dinner is cooking.

Aw what a sensible crab you are! (Do about the same routine)

I will say I take along time getting ready, but Taureans like to be prim and proper = )
