I find it funny to see/hear/read about the cancerian male`s more "feminine" traits. You know, that they`re like needy, loving, romantic. The ones I know are horrid, overtly sexual, emotionless and ego-trippng fools. Why has nobody mentioned this?!

Honestly, the reason why, I think, is that it's understood as the duality of humans and not necessarily sign specific. I know Libras, Leos, Saggies, Caps etc that are that way.

Even that makes it sound like a person with major issues. Non-emotional, lacking compassion....this isn't a thing that is sign based, but personality, or character based.

Aries moon has a way of making a normally compassionate or "nice" sun sign man become incredibly selfish, self-centered, egocentric, and one insidious prick. My oh my, so many synonyms. Lol. But it really does do that to a sun sign.
One of my guy friends was cancer sun and aries moon. He was always super nice to me and I always wondered why he was single half the time. As I got to know him more and met some of his exes, I realized his Aries placement was ruining it for his cancer traits.
Second example would be of my libra sun and aries moon ex. He was a bf straight out of hell. Talk about the worst, scarring experience ever. His aries trait ruined it for his libra sun traits. He was such a self-serving, manipulative to the core individual. His libra side was very pleasant to be around and initially he would show his libra self, but the moment his Aries' traits took over: impulsive selfish, hedonisitc traits, he became an unrecognizable bastard.
Third guy is a Capricorn with aries moon and although he's hardworking and generous, he is insidious. He does everything with an ulterior motive.

In my opinion the Cancer male realizes how unattractive being so emo about everything can be to others and this is when he utilizes that infamous hard shell.
