So I know cancer are moody... I've hear you can even get upset about thing the other person is not even aware of...

but I've wonder from the inside of the shell, what does it suppose to mean when you ignore someone to the point of not even knowledge their presence in the same room or not looking someone in the eye...

not even being to a bit civilized?

Does it mean you are hurt, resent, angry all the above or simply that person is gone forever...

You guys are sooo mean...

It means...

-they are in deep like/crushing and are too shy and insecure to even look your way
-they are DEEPLY hurt and DEEPLY resent you, like they mentally erased your existence
-^this + the fact that you ignored their feelings by not apologizing for what you did or acknowledging their hurt
-they like you or hate you and...they want to appear like the more macho person or make you believe you don't affect their emotions in any sort of way
-they are highly embarrassed because you ran into them at a bad place and they're not trying to aknowledge you at all because that would be even more embarrassing
-you are causing too much stress, chaos and/or confusion and they mentally erased your existence

If a cancer is acting like that they're probably either gone for a long time, gone forever or not gone forever but the relationship will never be the same again. When a cancer acts like you literally don't exist (especially in their presence) things are downright awful. But it all depends on the situation. They can act like that but then feel that they've been hard on you enough and your punishment is over and come back in a week to a year to years. Or never come back at all from that. It all depends.

It depends on what a person did. Usually the only reason I'll do that is because that person I'm ignoring has betrayed or hurt me in some way, and hasn't made it right. If it's bad enough of a betrayal then there is NOTHING that person could say or do to ever get in my good graces again. They will be dead to me and I'll make sure they know it in no uncertain terms, and as coldly and cruelly as possible. I DO use words as a weapon if properly provoked. Calling names has nothing on what I do, which is to use their ugliest, darkest truth against them. Only an enemy gets this treatment.

For me I can tell if I can trust a person a few seconds into meeting them if I feel a bad vibe from you its over. Depending on who it is I will proceed with caution to see what they are like if I keep feeling the vibe I will never trust you. In the job I'm in now when I meet a new manager I can tell if I can trust them in minutes. I'm very intuitive I can see things happen before they happen.

Lying to me that is a deal breaker I can tell when somebody isn't being truthful I will look at them and give them that look.

I used to be self-employed I had people screw me around not paying their bill or lying about the work they needed done. Once you screw me over I will make it tough for anybody else to work for you. I had customers phone me back can you come and do the job yes I can it will cost you more. Once the job was done I would sever ties from the people and never work for them again.

I don't like getting screwed over I treat people fairly I expect the same I will get revenge. If somebody does mess with me I will mess with them back it won't be obvious but they will say in the end ooh we shouldn't have messed with him.

May be under intense stress, worried about another situation or just want to be left alone. My cancer friend and I both do this when we've maxed out on tending to everyone but ourselves.

Or you've fucked up sooo badly I've forgotten about you. For me to forget anything is saying something.
If I'm uncivilized it is because you keep reminding me how much I wish you were dead.

Why do you ask?

In my case, to use a mafia term, it means "you are dead to me".
Or, to paint another picture, in Ancient times a person deemed an enemy of the state had their name stricken from every record, as if they never existed.

I'm only like that in a case of serious betrayal or intentional harm done to me.

This is true in my experience with my cancer man. Before we were together, he did the disappearing act on me for abt 6 or so months, and i never knew why. He explained why later, after we were together, but there was nothing i could do abt it at the moment and not having any idea why.

I have a more fortunate experience in that he did come back (pfft, of course he did, i'm awesome and he knows it! lol), and after a few jokes at him disappearing (still didnt know why at the time), we just picked up where things left off. then, abt a year or so later, he would go MIA for a couple weeks or a month, and i'd had enough and laid it on him that he couldn't keep doing that to me. since that moment, he has been conscious of letting me know when he's going into his shell, and i hate it still to this day, but patience and understanding and love are the things that will get you through. as long as you recognize that its not to the point of being a doormat. to this day, its a fine balance, but we make it work and he's worth it and i'm worth it.
