Cancer bf mood

Super curious. So my bf and I went out Saturday for drinks with his best friend and my bestfriend. Something interesting happened, not too much of a big deal but I'm interested in others insight. So we were having a good time laughing, reminiscing and what not. Out of no where my bf got very quiet. Engaging in conversation like he was listening but wouldn't say a thing for a good 20 mins. His friend was making jokes and he didn't laugh one bit just looked at him and looked away with like this death stare. We would all say something and everyone's talking and he just sat there. I figured he was just in a crabby mood for the time being but I still asked what was wrong and he said he didn't know lol and that it happens a lot that's why his friend didn't ask what was wrong. I told him I knew he was moody because I get that way but I just wanted to make sure everything was okay. I guess he gets that way a lot with his friends but he's never gotten that way when I'm around. It was just interesting because he's probably the most laid back person who literally is always so chill so I was like this is different lol.

Do you guys ever get that way and what usually makes you guys.. I guess 'act like that'?

I kind of thought that too because I was zoning in and out of the conversations so i don't really know what was being said lol but later on his friend got up without his phone to go talk to someone at another table and my bf looked through his phone and checked his messages🤔

I don't think so. I accidentally called him his brothers name like a week ago on the phone. In my defense they're twins and they sound JUST alike when they're talking to each other and I'm on speaker and I always tell him I can never tell them apart because they sound completely the same. BUT when I think about it, his friend and my friend might have been texting back and forth because every time he'd pick up his phone to text, she put her phone down and vice versa but I just thought they were flirting😂 So maybe he thought they were talking about us?
