cancer man purposely trying to run into me?

i (a pisces) broke up with my cancer back in September. i simply changed my number and blocked him from everything. i have been trying to move on from the entire experience bc he treated me badly and i just realized i deserve better. while we were dating he hated going to this place i really loved and in the 3 months we were together we probably did want i wanted twice otherwise we hung out at venues he wanted to frequent.

it has been 2 months since the number change and now he is showing up at the place i know he hates that i frequent almost every weekend. i ran into him last last weekend with his friend and although i was surprised, i thought nothing of it and went on about my business. my friends were at this place last weekend and he was there again!!!! same day of the weekend, same time as when i saw him 2 weekends ago.

my friends and i r going to the place this weekend around the same time before i really consider this more than a chance run in.

my question is, is this his way of attempting to come back? do u think the 1st time he saw me he got scared? (i know cancers fear rejection) maybe by coming a few times...he'll build himself up enough to come up to me?

i miss him and wouldnt mind being his friend again however i dont think he is the right person for me.

Why do you want to be friends with him if he mistreated you in the relationship?

As a Pisces myself and looking back on past relationships, when there's more good than bad and the good was REALLY good, you can't help but want to experience that good again. Also, with my cancer man, we connect on a deeper level than any other sign I've dealt with. He was the only man that gave me butterflies. sometimes we just get each other without even speaking. Now that's deep. 🙂

If he was a bad boyfriend, then he will also be a bad friend. Remember how you felt when you changed your number and blocked him? Don't forget that he was NOT nice to you. So who cares why he's showing up at your place? Don't even go there. Ignore.

I suspect he might be trying to get your attention. One of the signs a man likes you is when he just drops by places he knows you frequent. He wants you to see & think of him. So this guy *might* want round two. Thing is you left him because you were obviously unhappy in the relationship and with his treatment of you, right? You've been nurturing the hope that your absence will make his heart grow fonder and inspire him to change only people rarely do. Maybe he misses you & wishes things could be different but he won't change and you won't be able to accept who he is/what he has to give in this relationship. Therein lies the rub.

Thanks for all the replies guys 🙂 i suppose i do need to remember how i felt in the months we dated and although the good was really good the bad was just as bad and way more frequent than the good. I did stop going to the place bc i dont want to run into him. i've already found someone new 😄
