See, I wouldn't have told him to bite me unless he had provoked such a comment by either teasing me or being outright rude. If it was teasing to cause me to say "bite me" then his response, "but why?" would have gotten a very coy response. If he was being outright rude and I said "bite me" in a mean manner and he then asked "but why?" I would have given him a caustic response. Sorry, that's just the Moon/Moon side of me, though, and how my brain works.
