If the people are mature it can be a beautiful pairing, IMO.
Probably depends on the rest of their chart. High school sweet heart was Scorpio but he's the only romantic. The rest I was turned off by. I do have Scorpio friends though

Depends on the people. *anecdote* My sister is a Scorpio and her husband is a Cancer,both are toxic to each other. I won't defend peoples negative behaviour even if they are family,but her actions are more destructive than his. He does something wrong she chats,flirts and meets married men to get back at him. She has always got into toxic relationships,I have no sympathy,she does it to herself.
