Let's say the Cancer has such a tremendous ability of improvisation and repair that they overwelm the Scorpio?
Also, about your moon, why do you dislike your emotional depth? Isn't not accepting that aspect of yourself a larger sign of weakness than accepting it?

But the Cancer has a greater she'll, and depending intheir growth, they can make the Scorpio's stinger temporary, if not obsolete.
cancers have more mobility and changeability than scorpios which are a fixed sign that is how they can win but would have to be done quickly. scorpios are the better strategist and if they have spent a sizable amount of time studying their opponent they can win
....I know what you guys are all thinking scorpio probably physically and emotionally....but we have alot of murder this ...sign....when cancers "snap" pun intended 😏 they snap! ....and if the question of emotional war fare ...its easily cancer ....go look thru the cancer board for every 1 cancer that makes a thread there are easily 5 other signs asking about them/complaining about them/trying to figure them out......
Only if the cancer has the upper hand could they win over a Scorpio. Since Scorpios hate that and would literally sting or burn themselves up to prevent that its unlikely. Scorpios rule over emotions and are still controlled. Cancer can rule over emotions but their pettiness gets in the way and they can lack focus
A lot of interesting responses. I have a lot of air in my chart, but also a lot of water. Pluto is in most planets of mine. I don't know how other Cancers are, but every time something bad happens, yes, I sulk a bit, but I always grow stronger from it.
Any and every blow I have taken has made me grow.
Sensitivity does not equal weakness. Feeling your emotions and accepting them no matter how intense they get is a sign of strength.
In Scorpio, the form most worthy of my respect is the Phoenix.

There are a lot of Cancers and Scorpios around me so I tell from my experience. I dont respect Cancers because they are weak, manipulative and use your weak points if they know them but it's easy to defeat them using their weapon. But I respect Scorpios a lot. They are strong, reliable, tho I have difficult time with them sometimes.
I like my emotional depths but I hate unability to control them. Still havent learnt in my thirties.

I do not need others to think I'm better. I simply know I am. But I also know I'm not. We are all inferior and superior in different ways.
However, when one wishes to assert dominance over us then we will lower them enough to use them to grow. I always evolve, and I don't need to consciously use others to. It's the hard experiences that make me grow--and the good ones.
Also, Scorpios are not as simple as you stated. Yes they eat, but why do they eat? Yes they fuck, but why do they fuck? Yes they hunt, but why do they hunt? And, in terms of staying safe, but is the line between protection and suffocation?

Here is my rebuttal:
1. I agree to the extent that one is not permanently better than another. Perception is often subjective. However, people have strengths and weaknesses. There are those who lack insight into themselves and those around them, but may be blissfully unaware of the pains in their life to the point that it would make a highly introspective person jealous. But, I disagree with that--the hidden world is awesome. However, when it comes to someone's ability to handle pain, there are simply those inferior and superior. Not forever, I hope. Pain is a test that either makes you stronger or destroys you. The weak are crushed by it never to grow again.

3. False. They (nature and thought) can work in harmony in a way that benefits both. To be able to conceptualize these urges is a gift that hopefully more than a few have.

4. Things and perceptions of those things don't always match up in a person's mind. When a Scorpio is so focused and dedicated to their point of view of their extremely detailed world, they fixate on their subjective perception--a perception that hurts more than helps. That could hurt others as well as themselves. At that point, the line is not thin, but blindly travelled under the delusion that one is still protecting themself.
4cont: It's about growth. The more a Scorpio learns on their journey, they better they are at travelling. This is all metaphorical, of course.
But then again, I simply know what I know. I have so much to learn, which is why I made this topic--to get reactions, responses, and debates. I love learning.

False. Nature and thought can work in harmony, yes, but at the end of the day nature has proven countless of times that it is a powerful force that not even we can reckon with. It can take us over without us being able to utter a word as to why. Nature cannot be explained or completely understood. We only know what we feel and the urges we experience. Most times, we as people cant explain why we are, why we do certain things, and why we feel. Before there was us, there was nature, and even more so, the supernatural. We are just a small part of things.
However, with enough Gemini in your chart, you can explain and understand nature. And even then, yes, there are deeper things, but I have been able to conceptualize my intense feelings. And those hat I haven't--well, I'm in my way.

dude, i dont know what you're on about, but my point was we only feel the need to 'compete' or turn our stingers up when it is necessary. not because of some ridiculous false notion that we have to prove ourselves and beat others in order to feel good. i'm still trying to figure out why there has to be a versus at all. you came to us with this crabs vs us thread; scorpions i know, both animal and people, dont live like that. we reserve our energy for better things. and we could care less about who wants to compete with us.nature made us battle ready, but God gave us the good sense to choose our battles wisely. i don't think our Creator would have given us the stingers, venom, and claws without equipping us with intuition on when, how, and when not to use them. you seem to fixate on what you think a Scorpion does while forgetting that other factors and placements make each and every one of us react, protect, and perceive the world differently. we arent daft enough to think that only our views matter, because we see the entire picture, not just what we want to see. a good detective isn't delusional, and we are the detectives of the zodiac.
I don't think Scorpios do it to feel good. Only when they feel it's necessary. But sometimes when it is used, it is not neccasary.

I am not a fortune teller, and I know the fish will go where it wishes to go--regardless of whether the partner is a water sign or not.
I believe cancer would win.. in a really polite roundabout way. I think we could diffuse the scorpio intensity.

Depends on what it is i guess.. in my own experience with Scorpios i seem to diffuse the situation. In arguments, i can make them feel as though they've won by being understanding and hearing them out. Then say my piece.. but only after they have expressed their emotions and i have heard them out. And in the end i am the winner, because as emotional and annoying as cancers are, i think we can all agree we are not fans of conflict lol
I think that it depends on the tact f the Scorpio, and the skills of improvisation of the Cancer.
For me, being a Cancer means feeling the intensities of all emotions and remain standing, if not grow stronger from them. The same can be said from Scorpios who learn to be the Phoenix.
scorpio would win the battle, cuz they're stingers HURT! they penetrate the mind, they can make you feel like a piece of shit on the bottom of their shoes, and like they never cared about you at all! But their weakness is…it happens so fast, they might not mean it, sorry they'll probably regret it or come back and apologize.
but cancers when the war, because they can isolate themselves long enough to move on completely.
