I am new to this forum and would like to get your feedback on a situation I am currently facing.
To cut the story short:
I had a crush on a person in my office for a while now and I know that he liked me too but he is too reluctant to make a move.
The department that I was working in has shifted to a different location and nearly all contact was over. I would still see him in formal events and would say hello to each other while we are surrounded with colleagues. He even once came all the way to my desk in the new location pretending that he was looking for a coworkers office. All of this without making a clear move.
In the past month, I have transferred to a different department, in the same building he works in, because I had problems with my old boss. The department that I currently work in deals greatly with his department and coming to this place I had anticipated to see a lot of him only to find out that he because very lukewarm. I attribute the reason because I was dealing with anxiety and depression over the past 6 months or so and whenever we saw each other I would run the other way while having a forced smile on my face.
Even today, where he was invited to a meeting that he usually attends on a yearly basis and for some reason has delegated the entire process. I would like to get some insight on what might be going through this person's head. I would like to get to know him better but would not want to be the one to do the chasing.
How can I do so when he is lukewarm and totally avoiding me?
