damn. i thought it was normal. i guess i'm odd. i like all manner of romantic comedies and chick flicks... loved Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (though all my guy friends i made watch it liked it a lot too), Brown Sugar, most john cusack movies... but mostly comedy-focused ones... not like Steel Magnolias, which I haven't seen. I did like Fried Green Tomatoes a whole lot.

"My Cancer ex hubby did not like chick flicks. I do. I love them. Anything with Jane Austen especially..."

like pride and prejudice?? i LOVE the a&e version... soo funny. the usa remake wasn't bad either.

I like the one with...errr...the British guy who's kind of smooth and cool...sorry...it was made by the Beeb...

Also loved Sense and Sensibility with Emma Thompson...that rocked...especially when Hugh Grant finally asks her to marry him at the end...and she *bursts* into huge sobs....love it...I'm crying right along with her...

My ex hubby actually did like "It's a Wonderful Life" and when we were getting on, used to cry with me when Jimmy Stewart gasps "I wanna live again! I wanna live again!"

i am such a soppy crab! have any of you seen the notebook? gets me everytime.
but the other day i saw this random korean romantic tragedy called "a moment to remember"
i think it loses something more poetic in the translation but still, i have never been so moved by a film, it had such an emotive effect on me! i was balling my eyes out even after it had finished. def one for the girls.
i suggest everyone watch it, the whole thing is on youtube (
it is beautiful
plus the male protagonist is like a korean johnny depp, so you can't go wrong! :p
