Did he say I love you?

My Cancer and I have been dating almost 5 mos. Never said the "L" word but Sat when we were having amazing s*x, I could SWEAR that he 'sort of' whispered it in my ear....he isnt usually right in my ear but it was like he went directly there and was purposely breathing in it and then I thought I heard "I love you", sort of, like he didnt fully move his lips to enunciate but I'm pretty sure I heard it b/c the rest of the time it sounded more like breathing. His Mars is in Gemini so he does like to "talk" ;P moreso before the act.

I know none of you were there to hear this 😉 but I'm wondering if this would be a typical way that someone might work their way to the L word? Or maybe it slipped? This ever happen to anyone or have you done this before? It wasnt totally clear so I didnt know what to say/do. I kissed his cheek. Yes, I am falling in love with him.

Forgive me if I sound dumb but I'm just out of a LTR so this dating and stuff is kinda new to me.

He probably said it, but was timid about it, fearing rejection and worrying that you wouldn't say it back. So he sorta whisper said it, hoping you would say it back.

It could be what domanb is saying.

But I've always heard that when a man says I love u during sex that its not as valuable as him saying when you're not.

I'm sure he does but just give him some time and wait till its more direct and not during intercourse.

My crab tried to tell me he loved me once, but I told him it was far too soon and shut him down. Don't ever do that....I think I hurt him pretty freaking badly.
