Cancer's are the biggest paper chasers? Because of the whole wanting security thing? I read they are good with money.

I'm not. The security I care the most about is emotional. I could be poor as dirt with hardly enough to cover living expenses but as long as I have real love I have happiness and everything just feels magical and beautiful. I know. Sappy romantic.

My boyfriend is very good with his finances and yes money plays a huge part of the security he needs, he is currently obsessed with some stocks, his goal make enough money to pay off his house so he can retire in 7 years without a mortgage...

Definitely good with money. Not miserly, but smart.
I don't go chasing money, but if an opportunity presents itself for a good ROI, I'm not about to pass it up.
That's just me. I do know a couple of Cancers who are obsessed.

It is true though, having a few coins to rub around when times get tough does represent security.

I think, however, if Cancer meets a partner in whom they trust, money gets trumped to an extent.
Probably why Cancers tend to be family oriented--its people who they can trust and lean on.

For me having money is have time to do things that I care for more. Security is nice but I found security in other things.

Yes, right behind taurus. I am def about getting my piece of the pie just because of the security it brings. I am not infatuated with money, I do not love money, but I love what it does. I feel like I am between a taurus and a pisces. Taurus loves money and pisces detests it.

hmm..of all the cancers i know, they dont seem to come off that way.

from what i have noticed, they pursue jobs that will help them live comfortably but not lavishly. a little more then 'enough to get by'.

i know my crab man is good with his finances and managing money. he is a stichler for saving at times but when boredom strikes he goes on crazy binges. i.e he loves going on this website that a lot of people go to if they wanted to get funded to start a new line of product, get their projects started, bring their ideas to life...etc. as far as paper chaser, he isn't the type who is in constant pursuit of that better thing beyond the horizon.

i had asked him once if he would ever take a higher position then he has now, and he said no. simply because he is comfortable and he likes what he does.

me on the other hand have job ADHD, so i cant stay at a job for too long..i get that 'itch' to go out and find a better job that is more fulfilling that pays more. even if i love the current job i have, i just have to keep reaching.

i think this might have a lot to do with someones midheaven maybe?

but yeah, you want to talk about paper chasers. taurus for the win. girrrlllllll. those bulls are a force to be reckoned with

My boyfriend is exactly the same, is not about living lavishly and pursuing a better job or to go up the ladder, is about security and knowing he would make a good living but also have time to enjoy his life. He has a good career, he could pursue a higher position but he does not want to because it would mean leaving behind his seniority and security, starting over and spending more time away from home.
