How can I show my cancer man support?

Hey everyone!

So the question on the title is kind of incomplete...and there are actually more questions to this topic:

1. How can I show my cancer man support (in work related issues) without getting too much into his space?

He recently started a new job and it's really concentrated and frustrated sometimes by it. This is why our relationship is much more distant than usual. I really love him and I totally understand and I do not wish to get into his shell (I know crabs are very fond of their "shell" - their alone time)
He says he really loves me and talks very fondly to me and I know it's all sincere. I really have no idea how to behave towards him while he is too busy for us/me a lot of the time. I often like to be warm and loving and supportive but sometimes I too get affected by this lack of time together. I try to stay strong and hope that our time will come again soon, which beings me to my next question:

2. If I act colder and more detached to everything, are there more chances for him to come after me or do I have to keep the loving, supportive, warm, etc attitudine towards him? How do cancer men react to coldness?

I love my man and that's why I want to have patience. I KNOW crab guys require patience. I have experienced his love and honestly it's the most perfect thing I've ever seen in my life.

I'm a bit puzzled..I'm a leo female who has been dealing with cancer guys all my life and I STILL don't understand how you guys function.

Actually we did discuse it. He said that he wishes to see me happy, optimistic, powerful as I was when he first laid his eyes on me and not become needy/clingy/whatever and I understand that in the sense that I would not like a needy/sad person either. He is indeed talking sweet towards me, says that he's not doing anything wrong (aka cheating), and often says that he's going to marry me.

I HAVE been clingy at the beginning but I managed to let go and begin focus on myself again. Right now I'm being all optimist, for the both of us but sometimes my leo ego takes over saying something like "HEY! I need some lovin' from time to time".

I guess it all comes down to having patience because it can't be all fun and games when it's serious 😢

I think we're beyond the communication state. We already talked about this but talking with a cancer still leaves me puzzled. My question is about how can I behave around him that wouldn't make him drift away from me but actually the contrary?

I thought is.. Let him be busy, and you focus on your things too
if he wants attention from you, he'll let you know
and you can shower him lots of love by that time

no upset, no nagging when he turns to you.. that's the support cancer wants
