Is this good or bad
Sorry not that is good or bad. But did I do wrong in telling him to spend time with his family. I honestly don't feel like he should be upset. I feel like on both sides I did a reasonable thing so the two of us can spend time with our families. Especially in my case; one of my family members really need me.
I hope that in the end he understands and is more rational about the situation. He's not immature; he's very logical and rational. He might act out of impulsiveness at times. But he pumps his breaks now and composes himself( or lately has since we started talking again) lately he's more expressive.
Anyways, I hope he just notices that it was coming from a good place and not that I'm avoiding him or blowing him off.
I'll explain once he ask me why I don't want to see him as bad as he wants to see me.

I did say sorry for not being clear. Cause I was actually talking about next weekend; not this weekend. It was my bad; miscommunication on my part.

Anywho, I'm in NYC at the moment. Not for long cause I'm actually visiting my cousin due to family issues.
I texted my cancer asking him if he was free for the weekend( didn't specify which weekend.) it was quick and didn't put much thought in to it. So he text back and tells me his family is in town; but he will make time cause he really wants to see me.
Our original agreement was the 20th of this month. I want expecting to return before then; like I said it's more cause of my family. So I told him not to worry about it; to spend time with his family that I will be back on the 20th like we discussed. Besides he rare sees them and I don't want to take family time away from him( he needs it.)
Now he's upset with me. I'm confused; I though family time was important and he would appretiete me understanding the importance of it. I'm confused. Or maybe I'm not understanding his urgency.
Another thing; I want to actually spend quality time with him. Not a quick thing and then good bye. I'm not in to the quicky kind of thing. He knows that already.
