Married couples?

I would like to know what life is like as a couple who lives together. How long have you been living under the same roof?

WHAT IS YOUR DAILY LIFE LIKE? aghhh
What do you do everyday? Basic stuff, aside from the surprises here and there (if there's any!)
How do you handle chores? Who cooks? Do you cook EVERYDAY?!
Very important... how much time do you spend cooking?
How about, do any of you have a hired cook? How much do they go for?
Is your spouse messy? If hampers for dirty clothes exist... is there ever a..problem..about..leaving..clothes laying around? I'm just saying.. does a problem like that exist??
What kind of arguments do you have?
Do both of you pick up after yourselves. What are the traditional roles? Do you follow? About this cooking thing.. do you learn to cook what the other likes or does he better learn to like the damn food!! .. or both.. yeah, makes sense. I'm just curious.

Hey RP- Reigning Dream Queen;

I may not have time to complete the whole thing right now in detail as you have requested but I will get in as much as possible right now and come back later if need be.
Let's begin:
1)Daily Life- well for me and my Cancer we have been together for almost three years but living together almost two- right now I am taking care of our NB daughter so that has changed things a bit- he is the only one working at the moment- he comes home and spends time with us in the late afternoon/ evening- we usually watch King of Queens (we both love that show) on TBS and he will hold her while I get some things done around the house that I couldn't do because little one wouldn't let me- I make dinner if I feel like it- if I don't then he brings something home- calls before he leaves work. I would cook everyday before she came but now it's much harder but when she gets a bit older I think it will be easier. We all hit the hay when SHE finally hits the hay, lol-very unpredictable right now because colic- ooooh that colic- it's a killer, lol. She is pretty much getting to the point where she knocks out about 9 or 10 now which is heaven, lol. We used to have to go on car rides to get her to calm down, lol. She sleeps with us- I merely recommended that we try to oh put her in that huge room that we put our heart and souls into preparing for her but he has a fit at the mention of it, Cancer men- they are so the "mother hens", lol- it's too cute- weekends- we usually try to go out and enjoy at least Saturday and I give him Sunday so that he can have more time to himself that day- he retreats to his "man-cave"- his own room where we have our computers and his toys- this man eats/ breaths video games ex. Playstation, Xbox 360, and now the Wii- I admit I like this myself (the Wii).

Chores- I do most of the overall cleaning of the house- I am the main one who does the floors, the bathrooms- we take on a more traditional role- he is responsible for mainly outside things like the yard, fixing things, but I also ask that he clean up after himself mainly just being neat- keeping clothes put away-
we are total opposites- I am a Virgo when it comes to cleanness, organizing, etc- very anal and he is total opposite- we have had our biggest fights about this but he is much better now
He has dishwasher duty because for some reason I HATE loading/unloading the dishwasher, lol- it just annoys me and I would wash them by hand before I would use the dishwasher- weird I know, lol
He helps with the NB- he holds her, feeds her, he will keep her to let me do the grocery shopping- I run most of the errands because he is usually pooped when he gets off work- I pay the bills and keep up with the bank account much more than he, lol- also very Virgoan of me- I am always the one who keeps up with appointments etc.
If there are business issues to handle, mainly me.
Sex Life- I will PM about it to you RP if you want to know😉
Let's see what else... oh yeah he won't change the baby's diapers if she does #2- he gags and can't stop, LOL- it's so funny I have to get it on camera one da

Living together 4 months...
im a cancer, he is a pisces. I get up about 5am. He sleeps till I wake him up. This is "me time" so this works good. I have an 8 year old daughter. I get her up..we shower..then it is his turn. He starts the truck while we get ready..he gets our doors and we are off..we drop her off at school. we work together (are both in management, but different departments) at a car dealership. most of the time we have lunch together, but other then that we aren't in each others face. he gets off before I do, so he goes and see's his mom. picks me up and we either eat out or i cook. if i cook, he does homework with my daughter. i tuck her in and he cleans the kitchen. we share the chores..something new for me. he fixes stuff...god, i better marry this man..lol

Hey SRG 🙂 Not getting hitched just yet! aaaaaaaaahhh! hahahahah We're looking for a place. Even that freaks me out a bit. Don't wanna bite my tongue later, but marr*e is just a tad too ahead of me right now.

Thank you for all that great insight! I was a little freaked out lol At first it was cool when he suggested we move in together. Then he started adding words to it... hahahah
It all started with 'taking it to the next level' hmmmm ok then 'it's different when you live together' seeing each other in a new light.. 'you need to learn how to cook!!' I nearly fainted at that one. Then he started addressing the areas where we have problems.. solutions.. making up scenerios and dealing with them. Then he said that this is where we would learn if we can live with each other and see if we can take it forward.. hmmmm with my great analytical skills I can safely conclude that he has put a lot of thinking into it.. yes yes that's it ... 😛
I'm just wondering how he'll react to my proposition of having separate rooms... hmm hmm hmm 😛 Auggggghhhwk I don'tttt wannnt to suffffocateee withhhh anooother livinnnng bodddddy tHeRe alllll the timmme *chokes self*

My crabby has turned sooooo clingy lately... recent development in the tc-crabby fairymare. I have this feeling he wants to tie me down. A little incident has got me wondering something lately hmmmmm dunno dunno
My crabbby oh my crabbbbby my itsy lil crabby muahhh.. yes I'm singing. Freak forbid I ever call him crabby when I'm tipsy or it slips out. He would be like wtf why am I comparing him to such an ugly creature lol

Damn, if you get married(which it sounds like it's gonna happen soon) that pretty much dissolves the chances of you and I ever hooking up :-)

I'm glad I was able to give you some insight- don't worry too much about the cooking thing but it is somewhat important to them, lol

My man is Latino and I don't know how to cook authentic Mexican food- I want to learn though- right now it's a Taco Bell dinner kit-

I tell him all the time to tell his mom to send me recipes- she dosen't speak English very well so the language barrier sucks-

He kills me when he pulls a Ricky Ricardo on me- speaking in fast Spanish about me when I do something to aggravate him but then I just do it back in Spangibberish- it kills him- I ask him I know I must have said at least one word in Spanish in all that- he says I don't every time.
