Third date with female Scorpion, not feeling it...

I'm a Cancer man. After the third date with a Scorpio I'm not feeling it. It's all about her. She doesn't seem really interested in whats inside of me and really doesn't reveal much about herself. She wants to keep going out but I don't know. Second and third date were with her friends which I don't mind but there has been very little alone time. I'm not the type to chase a woman for very long..........After 3 dates shouldn't there be a better understanding of where this might go? Maybe she just wants a good friend.

She wants to be admired and cherished. Princesses are like that. It's disappointing, I know.

Luckily you're not that attached yet (I hope). So it will be easy to move on.

The Princess will seek validation from her peers. She doesn't really want to know him. It's more like a social test than a date, you could say.

Great feedback and I sincerely thank everyone. I'm going to lay low for a while and see what happens. I'm not so attached that I can't walk away. The more I think about it the more it feels like she's not into this for the same reasons I am. Anyway, thanks again to everyone.

She's probably being so guarded because she's insecure. She fears that something from her past, once you know about it, will sabotage the relationship. And so she goes about sabotaging the relationship out of her fear of getting hurt. It's a vicious and insecure cycle of pain & loneliness. Or, she might not be feeling you either. But going on 3 dates with you suggests otherwise. End of the day tho, if you're not feeling it, you're not feeling it.

I'm pretty sure one of them is dead and the other is in prison by now.

I just bumped this thread cause the OP kind of nailed scorpio woman - cancer man dynamic. There is great chemistry and "biology", but its a very conditional relationship, and, the primary condition is that it has to be about them. We are nurturing and all, but, I think its the conditional part that pisses us off. Its one of the few combinations that genuinely suck the life out of a cancer man in a very abusive and tragic way.

Kudos to the OP for not falling into that trap.

I think the life-sucking could be worth it for what comes after. I can't believe they'd keep wanting to have everything without giving back forever. Didn't make it through that phase, but I'll always wonder.

Your, or even our, vision of a Scorpio woman is unrealistic. We just don't value the same currencies. They value fidelity, we value commitment. Its two completely different things. They are committed to their happiness. We are committed to their happiness. That's all sweet and all, but, you will never get back what you invested. It's an investment of infinite diminishing returns.

We need more than fidelity, and frankly, that and some strange sex is pretty much all that they can offer. In regards to fidelity, there plenty of other faithful fish in the sea. Pick any random sun sign and chances are that she is instinctively faithful. As far as as the good sex, as if they think we care ?

To get a Scorpio to fall in love with us is not that hard, its all in the stars, but for some reason or another, they just can't figure out how to love us back, and as someone who's aware of his own mortality, they are just not worth my time. No one has that much time to teach a Scorpio how to love them. They either do or don't, and if you're a cancer man, chances are that they won't figure it out.

This is very interesting because based on my readings of this couple that's the elephant in the room. Can Scorpio match and return the love that Cancer has for them. I'm not sure if the issue is about the actual feelings of love or how to express that love. Perhaps the issue is a difference in expression. Perhaps Scorpio expresses love differently than Cancer. So the issue then becomes communication. Can we interpret each others language of love?

They seem pretty weak and nervous to me. They can fake it with makeup and arrogance, but they're compensating so much it's endearing.

Cancer guys are sexy. Everyone I ever flirted with seemed like they'd be amazing in bed.

I think they have a great ability to actually listen and not just hear. I have a cancer rising so maybe thats why i'm attracted.


She probably didn't care. I've never found scorpios to really care about trading information unless it was to benefit them in some way. Not that they are always that way....
