I wish I could give you an answer but im in kinda the same situation.....except we havent established anything more than friends...just know that ur not alone on the cancer rollercoaster!!!
Wineaux thank you so much for your insight. I needed to hear the raw truth. Being a Leo, I'm not normally insecure but this insecure, but this man has totally sent me to the twilight zone. For me, If I'm having an amazing time with someone, I want more, but with him he pulls away. Thank you all for your help!
His behavior just didn't make sense to me. One minute he's saying he loves me more than I'll ever know and the next he's MIA. LOL Poor baby! I'd love to know what goes on in his beautiful head. Again, thank you so much!
Welcome.... perhaps you should learn the fundamentals of a cancer male. This is CLASSIC cancer behavior.
Spend a little time reading this forum. You may even want to read the complaints/kudos box in it's entirety. Trust. It will help you.
Also, listen to wineaux. I can guarantee you she has spent plenty of time learning the cancer man and perfecting how to "crab speak". However, you would be best off to do your reading before asking the same questions that every other woman who meets a crab asks.

What is the "snap" about?
The way I've seen it go down is that not only do they stop calling but they will rarely respond to anything be it text, email, invitations out, etc. They pretty much fall off the face of the earth. If he's still telling you that he loves you and everything is fine, just believe him. You can only go by what he's telling you anyway. Just remember, especially when dealing with men, that actions really do speak louder than words if he cares.

when they've lost interest. Cancer male is so wishy washy. He ignores me but when I begin to pull away he begins to call consistently. Why doesn't he just say he's no longer interested? I asked if he wants to let it go but he insist he loves me and stills wants to continue our relationship. I don't know...
