Coming on strong at the very beginning is a red flag no matter what. It can range anywhere from a guy/girl looking to fill a void to looking for an immediate rebound as they don't know how to be alone. Be wary of someone like that. Major red flag.

I don't know how women find that flattering when a guy comes on strong. That's just creepy. LIke you don't even know the person, what exactly are you in love with? Usually it's just lust.

One little detail I didn't mention was, we have common friends. once he mentioned workplace we realized having 3 common friends.

have managed to confirm some of the things he had said to me were true and a little about his doings. Still feel the guy is rather too strong, too fast, too soon kinda thing, finding the guy overwhelming.
