Yes, it's pretty right on. I like the ballet, opera, theatre, and the "see and be seen" events once in a while. Etiquette/manners, upbringing is important. I'm not looking for some pretentious ivy-leaguer though. I don't like pompous a $ $ es, or intellectual snobs. Understated class is nice, but I live by my own rules and if I want to be crazy and break others' rules, I sometimes will do that. Social connections and status... not such a big deal, but it probably could be for some Cap. women. I'm a bit off-beat, bc. I make good money, have a career, and my family has money, so I don't need or am not as impressed with status/power.

I would observe them not just for a while but quite a while 🙂

If I like a guy I either observe them till I find out if they are to keep as friends or if I like them more. I definitely don't show my interest on them. They might see that but I will never do it in purpose. Does that make any sense? LOL I have never been with a guy who I was really attracted to and that's because I saw in them something that I thought is not good for me. There have been many very goodlooking and hot guys interested in me too but I have never picked them. I have always picked the guy who I thought would be a good person. Unfortunately all those guys have not been what I thought them to be. Before I met my husband I was still very optimistic but now.. He made me think that why I even tried to find the love of my life coz when I was still 16 or 17 I gave a damn about guys and all I was interested was my future career. But at least it gave me a big lesson. I will not believe in love before I meet someone who proves me wrong. Sorry to be pessimistic but that's the only thing I am pessimistic for, still very optimistic in other areas 🙂

I think you should take your chance, go talk to her, first as a friend and find out if her relationship is serious or not. If it's not serious then make sure she knows that you are interested in her. If it's serious and she's happy then leave it there. If she's interested in you then she knows that at least that you are interested in her too. Good luck! 🙂

Depends how long you have known her. If you don't know her well, then probably she doesn't wanna share her personal life with everyone.. and when you know her better then she will be more open.. Just what I think.
