Are capricorn men controlling

My boyfriend is a capricorn and he's very controlling.i'm wondering if its in his sign,or just his personality.I need input.

I dated a Cap man for a while. He wasn't "in your face" controlling, but he did it subtlely. He was all about money and finances and budget, etc. If I had on new shoes or even shoes he'd never seen before, he'd ask how much they cost, if I bought them on sale, etc.

Whenever we went out to eat, he'd drop comments about how expensive eating out has become. I'd usually ended up ordering one of the more expensive entrees just to get his goat....get it? his goat.

My boyfriend tries to controll almost every aspect of my life, he tries tells me who i hang out with,what i can and cant say to him,he wants me to get his permission before i do anything.He tells me he has my best interest at heart,and that nobody else ever cared enough about me to tell me these things.If he calls and i dont pick up right away,he accuses me of cheating.He threatens to leave me at least two times a week.He can be really sweet most of the time,its just that hes taking on a daddy role,and its beginning to get to me, i love him and i want to make it work.i've never been this close with any other guy before, so i dont really know how to deal with this.
