My hubby is Gemini, and my best friend is Cappie. They get along great. On a more intimate level, I wouldn't know. Both signs are a high sense of responsibility, but Gemini falls short sometimes only cuz they get scattered, where a Cappie won't. Other than that, I believe it depends more on Rising and Moon signs, not just Sun signs. An example of this is, my parents. My Dad is Aquarius and my Mom Cancer. Not a good combo on the surface, but their Rising and Moon signs were so perfectly aligned...they've been married for 55 years and are still very happy. Don't judge just by Sun signs, big mistake!
