Well, I have always read that Capricorns are materialistic. I mentioned to my cap guy a while ago that I am materialistic. He thought that was a sin. Then he later stated that "if you make good money and can afford it".

Based on my definition of being materialistic, I do like nice things and will pay retail if I really want it.

He talks as if he is not or either is ashamed to admit it because he always talk to me about money. I am the "spender" and he is suppose to be the "saver". I'm not ashame to tell him or admit it.

Oh, yes, Atypicalfish, I've encountered the same! He talks live he's frugal and cost-conscious, which he may be partly... and joked about "someone need's to control your spending habits" when he saw this new Coach purse of mine. But then he's sporting a $ 2500 Tag watch he bought and a Gucci wallet! Ha, ha... I'm a Cap. too and will spend $ $ $ on quality which just happens to carry the designer label.
