Caps why do yall become distant sometimes?

My Cappy friend disappears and become distant at times. The majority of the time he will inform me that he will be busy for a while. Remind you that we live 2 hrs apart and only see each other roughly once a month. Sometimes we see each other more or less depending on my availability. When my Cap says he will be busy he cuts off all contact, including phone conversations. Sometimes it seem like he have this distant episode when he start getting emotionally connected to me. My question is...How do Cap men expect women to react when they become distant—

It's just how we do son!

Is it just certain stages in a relationship or friendship they react like this? Because we been friend for over a year and he still do this occasional.

Amethyst, I'm sure he's getting it elsewhere I'm been came to that conclusion. We are not in a committed relationship just sexually with feelings involved.

There were times before that my cap would 'forewarn' me that he was going to be really absorbed in his work/school, like the week of finals. He would tell me not to be surprised if he seems distant, but then he never went distant. So he forewarned me but never followed through with it, he remained consistent instead.

So I don't know if maybe he was just testing my reaction? Anytime he told me that, I would just be like "oh, okay.." and change the subject. I think maybe they just want to see if we'll whine about it or ask questions. He hasn't said that in a long time though, like probably a year.

I think the best way that you can react is to act like it makes no difference to you. I think once he sees that detachment, he won't want to distance himself afterall.

You may be so right because at 1st he use to say he will be busy and when I would call him he would be available. Recently when he said he was busy he was. If he was just tested me I failed.
