Deep connection? I was just giving him advice, though I can reason with him being with a woman who gives a poker face. Women like that who won't let you in in a certain amount of time aren't worth it. I just really didn't bother women who had a poker face though. Tried it, didn't work.

I've only tried to date 1 cancer, couldn't stand him.
I've tried 2 Pisces, one lasted a few weeks, the other 8 or 9 months. I found them easy to talk to, but never let my guard down because they didn't and I simply didn't spend enough time with them.

The mystery is in the aloofness. Lol.
I've seen it where Capricorns can connect deeply to us (water signs) but ( water signs) can't connect deeply to them... they seem to find it somewhere in them to feel something, or gain an emotional connection while it just doesn't click that way for us. They can't give us what we need, the emotional connection and depth seems to be more of a possibility of connection, love, and longevity with Virgo and Taurus. Usually in the Scorpio/Capricorn or Cancer/Capricorn Capricorn seems to be the only one in love, or invested many times they're more effected by the relationship than say the water sign... can't speak for Pisces I haven't seen/ heard/ or experienced that one much. In the end the relationship is more beenficial for the Cap than fill in the blank water sign.

Strictly my opinion, but Cappies are the best Earth sign option for the Fish, followed closely by Taurus and at a distance by Virgo.
There has to be some compromise, here, because all the Earth signs look uber-practical to us. And I am sure we look spacey and somewhat undependable to you.
I think that for Capricorn and Pisces to "work" he has to be at least somewhat grounded and she has to be a bit "spiritual." If he's a flake, no go. If she's a mercenary, no go. Both have to be strong, because neither can abide a weak or inconstant partner.
But if you hit the balance, she can be a steadying and focusing influence, and he can take her out of herself. I am very fortunate in many respects because of my Taurus ascendant (thank God). I trade well with Earth sign women. Always have.
If there is a "deep connection," I sense that it would be one of intimate partnership, "You and me against the World," not a water sign type of deep connection.
The Cappie has to learn to trust her Fish; the Pisces has to earn her trust.

I'm a Libra (Sag moon, Sag rising, Scorpio Venus), and my best guyfriend in the world is a Cap. I have no Capricorn in my chart, which is interesting to me. We call each other "twin" because even though we live 800 miles away from each other, we have an intuitive connection to each other, know what the other is thinking before anything is said, and share things with each other that we find very hard to share with anybody else. Even though I'm an air sign, we both "get" each other. Deep loyalty, frankness, and a fierce love of true friendship are the qualities I love most about him.

LoL. Capricorns are NOT cardboards LoL. Water signs would not be attracted if that were the case. You will not get a pull from a wall...trust, just like earth, there is water(emotions) underneath.
If you didn't get what you need out of a Cap, then maybe it was not the Caps desire to give you what you needed. Sometimes emotions are buried so deeply within that when they are pulled we are even amazed. It can be about self discovery. That's also when we can become self centered, and it's not so much about YOU but more about how you make us feel. We are not as curious as Virgo imho, who tend to know folks like the back of their hand, or even Taurus. Caps are the Father remember? Coming in assuming we already know everything, so that could be why there isn't as much of a connect on your end.

I have a pisces cousin who I am on the same page with. We think alike. We have the attitudes and just really seem to complement each other. It's a nice balance. He likes to swim in more dangerous and exciting waters than I do, eh, but maybe its because he's 10 years younger and male. lol!

I tend to connect with the Cancers easiest. There is a bond, instant comfortable relationship, like coming home to mom. However, if they get all whiny and needy and dramatic and judgemental, then I will start backing away. If I sense anything judgemental at all, I will close up.
Scorpios are great!! If you can get them to listen and stop focusing on their own drama, cynicism, and revenge. You spend more time convincing them that no, someone's not out to get you, than you do on getting a chance to open up. But I don't have much experience with scorpios, so maybe I'm biased on the few I know.

We're supposed to go on vacation this week, just somewhere affordable/CHEAP and decided it's even cheaper to stay home, not to mention it's more comfortable and relaxing, catching up on fun stuff. So much to do at home. lmao!! it's only mother in law who gets us off our butts to go somewhere. Or one of our close relatives or his best friends to push us to get off our butts.
Well, I'm very, very social. Always inviting people over for a quick get-together, always wanting to go where people are, always wanting to see and be seen. I don't mind staying home either.

i think water signs have more of an ability to connect emotionally with all other signs. it's in their nature. earth signs are probably easiest for them to "reach" of all other elements aside from themselves.
